I can confirm that it is stainless steel, well built and 100% fits the Kitchen Aid 6000 HD Mixer once sold by Costco with the tulip shaped 6qt bowl. After much trial and error I finally have a stainless steel replacement for my chipped white stock paddle that Kitchen Aid does not sell a replacement for. Thank you! I'd give it 10 stars if I could! This is a better blade then what came with the original mixer which peeled the powder coating off after many uses. It is thinner which makes it easier to clean and it mixes pretty good.

This was my 3rd try at getting the right size beater. I even went through Kitchen-Aid and still got the wrong size beater. The sticker on my Kitchen-Aid Commercial Bowl Lift Stand Mixer is completely faded and cannot be read. I didn’t know the model or serial number and do NOT want a beater with Silicon, that made things much more difficult. But finally I have received what appears to be a very high quality, heavy stainless steel beater and IT FITS! I haven’t baked for Christmas yet, because I’ve been waiting for this item. I will update this review after baking with it, but I don’t expect anything to change. Merry Christmas to all, especially to Amazon, the folks manufacturing and delivering to us!

I have the 5.5 qt lift stand mixer. I’ve gotten paddles that just didn’t fit right. This one is NOT painted and fits perfectly with my mixer!! This will last for quite some time!

Wish I'd bought this sooner. I had already replaced the mixer paddle once but the white coating chipped like the original. Now I won't have that problem again. Works just as well as original.

Only thing I would change is the ability to scrape the bowl--not happening with this one. Otherwise, works well. Toss into dishwasher for cleaning.
