I don't understand how another reviewer had the set snap and come off. I weigh over 250# and I plop down on the chair all the time. The balance is perfect having 5 legs. The chair is sturdy. I am disabled and use it in the kitchen to do everything, scooting with ease between the sink,stove, refrigerator to the table where I eat comfortably sitting on it. If for some reason this one broke, I would order another immediately and have it sent overnight delivery. The chair is way more maneuverable than a wheelchair and takes up a small space. I would give 10 stars if there were an option to do so. I ordered white for the kitchen. The plastic makes it easy clean and the tractor seat is comfortable for my plus size rear. I love these stools. I have been using these stools in a veterinary hospital for about 4-5 years and they have held up very well. The rollers occasionally need to be cleaned of pet hair and lubricated but have yet to fail despite rough and constant use. They are lightweight and eaisy to move from room to room by rolling or carrying. One of them started sticking with the lift and lower feature but a spray of WD 40 fixed the issue. Kids love them and are drawn to them immediately. I ordered this one to use at home in my kids room for a desk stool. The seat design is comfortable and encourages you to sit upright with good posture. In all I have purchased 6 of these chairs. Highly recommend purchasing you will be pleased. I seldom give five-star reviews that don't have the caveat "for the price." I think people need to get used to the idea that you don't get to expect five-star quality for a two-star price, That being said, I like this chair. It seems very sturdy. It was well packaged in multiple layers of paper, bubble wrap, foam and cardboard. The hardest part of the assembly was removing the packaging, it took less than ten minutes. It is very comfortable -- a major consideration for me, being two weeks post prostate surgery. I bought it to be my shop workbench chair and it is great. The seat is made of plastic and the backrest doesn't adjust front to back at all -- even so, it works very well for me. If it continues to work well, I may buy another shorter with casters for my office. This could be a nice bar stool if your decor is techno-industrial. UPDATE: I installed a couple of fender washers under the front of the seat mounting ring. This tilted the seat-pan backward slightly. This significantly improved the "sitability" of the stool. It also brought the backrest into a better position. I may add one more washer.

SAFETY AND LEGAL WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY!!! These chairs are absolutely TRASH AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS! We ordered 6, and every single one broke within DAYS to a couple weeks. I sought repair at first, but after the remaining ones broke, I wanted to return all of them. The customer service lacked any assistance, stating they were not to be used at a work place DESPITE listing them as a good use in a work place!!! They also sent me information stating they would not honor their warranty, contradictory to what is actually advertised. SUB PAR ENGINEERING BACKED BY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. We/they are lucky no one was injured when the backs broke off and the seats cracked and pinched our legs. (being used by ~150 pound females, by the way), otherwise additional lawsuits would be eminent. BE ADVISED!

The plastic seat broke where the backrest supports connect to the seat. Photos show where break is located. This one was sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon, not one of the other sellers. Unknown if this is fixable. UPDATE: emailed Flash Furniture and they emailed me back within 24 hrs; replacement seat was shipped out promptly and I just installed it. Parts are warranted for 2 years of purchase date evidently. UPDATE ON THE UPDATE: Yep, the replacement seat broke in pretty much the same place. I'm getting the impression the mold used to make these seats was intended to cast aluminum, not plastic, because the gussets that break around the rear center screw do nothing to add strength. photos 1&2 are of the first break, #3 is of the replacement update, #4-7 are of the break in the replacement. UPDATE #3: New replacement seat arrived promptly from [email protected] as promised by Kyndal at FF. photo #8 is of this replacement seat.

Listen folks, it's a VERY cheap shop chair. This isn't going to be super sturdy, rugged or heavy duty. It's meant for a very casual use chair. Understanding that, and reviewing it for what it is, it's exactly what it claims to be. I can't knock it. I didn't pay $100 for this, so I shouldn't be expecting a $100 chair. I wish people would review this as the cheapest possible way to get a shop chair in their garage. PROS: Extremely inexpensive. Shock works well, it cushions when you sit on it Nice travel and seat height options. Pretty comfortable and contoured about right. CONS: I wish the back bars were stronger but again. you get what you pay for. I wish they'd threaded some lock-tite but again, price? throw a bit on and keep the bolts tight. Don't over tighten them.

I am sad to say that this chair is already broken. I use it in my classroom as my small group teacher chair. Today one of the wheels broke off where it was welded to the frame. Apparently it can't be returned.
