They can be used with or without the table, allowing you to relocate your seating to another location. On those sunny days, the included 6.6' umbrella with a sturdy steel pole will keep you and your guests shaded and protected from the sun, and the convenient tilt function can be easily activated by simply pushing the plastic ring on the pole. Totally happy with my purchase. The only issue was the holes were a bit off and my husband had an issue getting it to screw in properly on the second level of plastic (there are 2 circular plastic pieces that secure the umbrella to the table). However, he was able to rig it so that the table doesn't wobble, and the umbrella holds. Left the chairs out in the rain on accident and haven't noticed any rust yet. Will update if I do šŸ˜‰šŸ‘ŒšŸ¾this is a good set. I plan to buy seat cushions and it's good. I also like that the chairs come assembled and have a pretty sturdy bar for a footrest. I like this table. It's perfect for a smaller porch / patio. Make sure you read the instructions before assembling. You need two people to put this together. The legs adjust (slide at the plastic leg insert) at the glass but don't use a tool to slide them into the perfect position (one person hold the table one person pull the leg into place). You will also need a 10 metric socket, the tool that comes with it is a joke and will take all day. Don't tighten all the nuts one at a time, tighten one a few turns move to the opposite side, (make sure the legs line up with the lines of the round leg anchors) continue until all are completely tightened. The umbrella is small and cheap but it should last through summer and replacement umbrella's aren't that expensive. Time will tell on the quality of the chair material. This is a nice little set, with a sturdy little glass topped table. However, the umbrella is kind of flimsy, and the chairs will not work well for people over 200 pounds. That being said, it is a nice table and chairs set for the money. We use it once or twice a week, we live in a condo where you cannot leave things outside. For us, it works. We put the table on the back porch and the folding chairs and umbrella in the closet. For people who are all thumbs when it comes to putting stuff together, not your item, go to a place that will do that for you. If you can use a screwdriver, it's not that bad to put together, and we are happy with the set. ... show more

Iā€™m gonna give it a five because the quality is good really good. Itā€™s smaller than what I thought but thatā€™s all right too if itā€™s within my garden and this it is very sturdy was easy to assemble. It looks great and the height is just right. The colors fit within my garden scheme. I used my own base. I have a heavy base for the umbrella because we get high winds here trust and believe that so I used him. I did not come with a base to hold an umbrella just went down through and I did not like that so I had put I used my own tablecloth I bought off of Amazon what are their sites that they lower the prices and it fit perfect happy with all of it. ... show more

Initially, I was like, wow, I found a screaming deal on an outdoor patio set. I did, in a way. I did give three stars, could have subtracted another, but it was more my lack of reading the description. This is why: The patio furniture would be a great set for young kids. Please check the dimensions, size, weight and any other description you can before making your educated purchase. An adult more than likely will not be able to comfortably fit in these chairs. Although no assemble required, they look like collapsible lawn chairs, not a patio set. I did try to fit and sit down, and was concerned that maybe I was going to take the chair with me on the way up. I didnā€™t, but it was close. It didnā€™t break or bend, so thatā€™s why I didnā€™t give it all one star. The quality seemed good for the price. Hence why I thought I had the deal of a lifetime. So, not much to assemble, and was not heavy at all. And was sturdy enough for an adult, but not to my liking. The kids loved the set. It really looked like it was made for them. But I cannot keep two full sets of patio furniture outside, one for the kids and one for the adults. Right. Not so comfy for me, but kids loved them. Just read the dimensions and weight. I was satisfied because they were not like the big patio sets you pay $200 less for, but hey come in boxes. And it takes two weeks to assemble. Chairs-unfold open, table-take out of box/put legs on and Umbrella-connect two rods and open. Literally takes no time at all. But I did not see a weight on the umbrella end, but there was a hole placement in the table for the umbrella to go through. So Iā€™m not going to downgrade because of the size, but itā€™s a huge point of contention if you want one for the adults thatā€™s much larger. I donā€™t think they would bend or break, but I didnā€™t sit long enough to find out, because I thought Iā€™d either get stuck or bring the chair with me. I really wanted a little patio set and I decided on this one. The table is pretty sturdy, the chairs are comfortable, and the umbrella is a good fabric. There were cheaper ones but I think this one is good. Update: the fabric on the chairs only lasted about a year. The table and umbrella are in great shape though. But now I have to buy some new chairs Update: I figured out that I could switch the seat fabric with the back fabric. Six screws per chair, took me about two hours but now hopefully they will last another year lol ... show more
