Purchased this a little over 4 months ago for my home office. Assembly wasn't any more difficult than any other. It did require tightening some of the bolts a couple times, but that wasn't an issue. it is comfortable enough, but the leg rest was installed by the factory upside down. When I extend the foot rest and flip it over to extend my legs it's on the wood (eg. NOT the padded) side which makes it unusable. So, as a work-around, I've pulled my subwoofer in front of me and prop my feet up on that while I'm on long calls and working on projects. I work from home for long hours every day, and often into the night. Last month I started noticing that the armrest padding was starting to deform - and stay deformed. At this point the wadding is pushed out to the sides to the point where I'm resting elbows on the faux-leather covered arm rest frame. Not optimal, but I could live with that. However, in the past few weeks the seat itself has deformed as well. I have flat spots where my legs sit, and a hump in the middle between the legs. When I stand up from the chair the padding doesn't expand. At first I thought it was because I wear jeans most of the time (I have an A/C vent right over top of me and it's too cool to wear shorts) and that may have somehow caused too much heat to build up. But now I just realize that this is just a WAY overpriced cheap chair. If I really started to do a deep dive on analyzing the fit and finish overall I'd write pages. For example, the padding for the neck rest is crooked, and the big oval trim caps that go over the bolt holes simply don't stay in. They pop out from time to time. When putting one of them back in it just wouldn't stay at all. So I'm really disappointed because the chair had the potential to be a long-lasting, comfortable seat. I actually haven't reached out to Amazon customer service or the vendor to see what they're willing to do about it yet, but that'll be my next step. Just thought I'd share this with everyone so y'all have an understanding of the limitations up front while you're hunting for a solid seat. ... show more

Disappointed. I would return this chair if it weren’t already put together. It’s very hard. Not a lot of padding. The foot rest looks stupid. Not like the photo.

    • My thoughts on this chair
I'm torn on this chair. First, I am the a real, independent, person who bought this chair. So this isn't a B.S. by the vendor review. The chair does have some comfort. I spend 2-5 hours on the internet daily, No games just reading and youtube watching in my hobbies cause I' 71 years old. But I bought this chair hoping the footstool would fit my posture/ergonomics While I surf the net or watch TV. The roolout footstool is too low for me. When I relax, I like my legs high. This chair doesn't do that. Still it's comfortable but just not perfect. Fit and finish look good. Price to value seems right. Would I buy it again? No. The elevated legs are a deal breaker for me. I'll use it for the next couple of years and then go looking for that perfect chair. Hope I've helped you. ... show more
