Super comfortable, can be adjusted pretty high (if needed). I'll never need to buy another chair again, this will last me for life (home use situation, not using it commercially). Finally, after all these decades of buying and tossing out crappy chairs, someone make one I can believe in. Wish I had it since the first chair, I'm sure I'd still be using it now. Yup, it's a bit pricier than the average "big box office store" chair, but just get it already if you weigh anything over 195Lbs! Though pricier, it's a super deal compared to all the other money I've spent on office chairs these past 40+ years. Don't sit on the fence, JUST BUY IT. Note: I have the cloth upholstery, which is super thick, durable, and spill-resistant (stuff doesn't soak in right away, time to get a towel and sop it up). I couldn't guarantee the durability of the "fake leather" version of this chair . . . but if it's like any of the other fake leather chairs I've had, the upholstery wouldn't last. ... show more

This chair is very sturdy. I'm a biggish guy (6' & 260 lbs). The chair is almost too big for me. I can lift it up enough my toes barely tough the ground. The rock adjustment is nice. I feel like I have some real support under me. Assembly was easy. The only reason I give it 4 stars overall was the packing. The standard parts kit was coming apart and bolts were lose in the box. In fact, I found one of them on my front porch where Amazon delivered it. So they were literally falling out of the box. I ordered the no arm version of the chair, but the parts included bolts for the arms. That allowed me to have enough to finish my assembly. It might not workout for those ordering arms though. That detail aside, I'm a fan of this chair so far. UPDATE on 4/27/23: I've had this chair for a little over 12 months now. The hydraulic cylinder started giving out (sinking). For a chair rated to 400 lbs where I'm far less than that, that was disappointing. That said, I have worked from this chair, often being in it 10-14 hours a day, the entire time. Worse, I ordered a new cylinder from Amazon, and I couldn't replace this one fully. I was able to get the old cylinder out but not the casing that was in the wheel base. It seems welded into place. So I used the new cylinder with the old casing, but the cylinder is just a tad bigger than normal. As such, there is some wiggle in the cylinder which is felt in the chair when seated. All that said, it's a shame as the chair is in good shape otherwise and still very comfy. ... show more

I'm probably premature with my review, I just got though putting it together, but I am currently sitting in it, and it feels pretty sturdy, and comfortable. However it's a b#tch to put together with the Allen Key they supply unless you have a proper work area. If you have a metric socket wrench it'll make it a lot easier too, but the work area still applies. I tried my SAE socket, and could tell that would strip the head of the bolt. If anything changes I'll correct or add to my review. ... show more

I bought this chair for my girlfriend to replace her dinky little office chair at her craft table. Three immediate takeaways: 1) The wheelbase of the chair probably weighs more than any of the other chairs in our apartment. I knew as soon as I picked it up that this chair has some heft to it. The other pieces were no less impressive. 2) This thing is friggin' HUGE. I'm 6'2", and when I sat on the chair to test it for stability after assembling it (since it had screw holes for the armrests, but didn't ship with armrests), I noticed with some amusement that with the pneumatic lift fully elevated, my feet don't touch the ground. 3) My girlfriend has proclaimed it her Comfy Chair and has spent more time at her craft table since the chair's arrival than the previous six months combined. She says that when she's having pain from sitting on other pieces of furniture, that this chair alleviates the pain. I don't know about THAT, necessarily, but she loves it. The aforementioned lack of armrests is my only real concern going forward. I'll be watching to see how the chair holds up without them; I would have expected a Big & Tall chair to need them for stability, given the body types such chairs are constructed for. ... show more

Pros: Comfortable chair, the heavy metal hardware gives me good vibes it won't just break. You attach the base with 8 bolts instead of the usual 4, so it's very secure. The fabric is very comfortable. Chair is very ergonomic. Cons: All the reviews about the packaging were accurate, it really looks like they just throw it in there. I'm not asking for tv level packaging but it might do well to make it look like it wasn't shoved in there and taped shut. Neutral: The metal parts were not super well deburred, you could cut yourself if you really tried, the only real problem this causes is making the screws hard to get in. You won't have to worry about it once assembled. ... show more

5'11, 280pds. Was difficult to find a chair i'd feel comfortable with, especially programming all day. This chair is excellent. Feels sturdy, very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time and room to move around even with the arms. Very much enjoying the chair. It would have been 5 stars, but the LEFT ARM came damaged and not working(wouldn't go up or down). 5 stars to Amazon for taking care of the issue quickly. Even at the lowest setting, the chair feels like my last chair at medium height. At 5'10 and on lowest setting, my feet are flat against the floor comfortably. It's a nice chair for taller folks who are tired of knee's bent all day. When sitting in the chair, i don't feel like I have to baby it like my last chair(which lasted 3 years luckily) I do wish the head rest was a BIT higher, but really that's minor. Great product over all. a bit pricey but you get what you pay for, peace of mind. ... show more
