I'm 5'9" and was told that this chair would be 19" off the ground for seating. It was 17". I simply replaced the legs with the following: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8C16YU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 and that seem to work fine. Other than the minor 2 inches, the chair is great.
