I bought this chair to work from home. I needed something small that would fit in a small space but still be comfortable. The assemble took about 40 minutes or so. The process could potentially go faster if you had some help. The instructions were not super great but it was doable. It does come with everything you need to assemble it. The chair shipped within a week which is not bad. It does come in the manufactures box so it's obvious what it is. The chair itself is small. Im 5'2" and it's almost like the perfect chair. I cant imagine a taller person enjoying this chair comfortably. Even at it's tallest I can still touch the floor which is not very common for me with office/task chairs. The cushion itself isn't the most comfortable but it will do. However, the back of the chair is very comfortable. ... show more

The pieces seem to be very heavy and sturdy. But, the very first thing to do is attach the back of the chair to the piece that connects to the bottom of the chair. Screw "K" is supposed to screw into a bolt "J" to hold the back of the chair on. After a few attempts to do this, I looked at the bolt.....and there isn't even any threads on the inside of the bolt for the screw to screw into! Very frustrating. So, I tried to return the chair and since I classified the return as "broken or missing parts", it asked if I wanted to just replace the broken or missing parts. Since the other pieces seemed to be good quality, I clicked to go to the support website. This takes you to Flash Furniture.....where you have to be a dealer in order to even order anything. I tried to go to Resources-where you can contact them (thought I would just see if they would send me a new bolt and screw)......and you can't order any parts unless you are a dealer. This entire situation was so frustrating I'm not going to call the number provided on Amazon. Way more work than its worth. Especially after reading other reviews that the back comes apart all the time (maybe because their bolts weren't threaded either??????) ... show more

After using a little (meaning a lot of) force you can manage to get the long bolt and small screw that assemble the back of the chair to hold, but other than the unnecessary difficulty for assembling some portions, and some missing parts like two of the screws for the back to attach to the base, the chair is fine. These chairs are a little on the small side. I am only 5'6" and weigh about 155 and it is tight sitting in this chair. They are not made for anyone over 165lbs or tall people. But, for the price, they are good for what I need them for.

-Chair was pretty simple and easy for me to assemble -Felt comfortable to use at my desk and I was comfortable enough to do stuff for a good period of time -I have no idea how or why but when I went to sit back, not even a split second or a moment of comfort I'm pretty sure I saw my computer, the ceiling and the wall behind me in like less then 1 second and I couldn't tell if the snapping noise was the back support breaking or my spine cracking from going 90 degree sitting position to a 230 degree position. Though I didn't need medical attention but seeing how a lot of people having the same issues and looks like the same spot that's been breaking, felt a bit disheartened I really enjoyed the chair, but I cannot afford another one as in who knows if the second one will break and maybe I will need medical attention at that time. I tried attempting to go to the website and was trying to see if I could just get a replacement part or trying to communicate but damn that was so much of a hassle and it was faster to drive tot he next city over to a store and picked up a folding metal chair until a different desk chair was delivered ... show more
