Picked up this little guy just this week and right after getting it i filled up the propane so i could try it out on my gas grill. This is a 1.6 gallon tank. First impressions, it is so sleak and small which makes it easy to store on the motorhome. Been carrying around the 20lb tank at the campground and its just a pain to have to pull it out of the storage compartment and set it up when i have so many other things to set my camp spot up as well (chairs, tables, etc..). I used it for the first time this week and it started my grill up right away with no issues. I have heard reviews of people saying the little gauge that comes with it isnt accurate. I screwed in a secondary gauge and it is right on where the one that comes with it is at. I also customized it with some fun stickers to make it more mine. Ive been also using the small green 16 oz coleman propane tanks, that without doing any math, you know its a much better value and refillable too. The media could not be loaded. Purchased this tank a few months ago and I’ve taking it on 10+ trips. It’s been through dust, rain and snow. The tank has held up during all my trips! It definitely lasts a long time. This tank is equivalent to about 5 Coleman green tanks. It will last a very long time before you have to fill it up! I purchased the one with the gauge. Although it’s not the most accurate, it gives you an idea of the propane level. It’s definitely worth it if you want to save space and weight in your vehicle. ... show more

What a fantastic find! We were ecstatic to find this tank on Amazon as these little guys are not commonplace, they are hard to find in stores. We are RVers and we have a travel size grill that we take along with us. We had been using the small green propane tanks (16 oz) that you can buy in the store, however, they do not last long and it gets to be costly having to buy them all the time. On the flip side, we prefer not to lug around a large propane tank either as it takes up too much room when traveling, not to mention they are larger than our grill. We decided to search for the miniature version of the large tanks as it’s the perfect solution for a travel grill or any other equipment you may be using (lanterns, etc) and takes up very little room. The tank has proven its mettle, it works awesome. Designed exactly like the large ones, they are a mirror image (see pictures). It cost a whole $2.50 to fill it at our local warehouse store, didn't exactly break the bank (may cost more at other places). Talk about a cost savings especially compared to the green tanks in the store that cost $10 for a 2-pack. It does come with a gas gauge which is great as we can track usage. I can’t say enough about this tank, it is truly an outstanding product. We definitely won’t hesitate to purchase again. As far as I’m concerned the price is worth the convenience. Tank works great , but don’t waste you money on the gauge it does not work at all. They sent me a new one and it still does not work. Very disappointed. I just had the tank filled they guy at tractor supply was even confused why it was not marking full.

I use this during my weekend camping trips and it works so well. The local gas station in Southern California filled the tank for me, and it cost about $5. I use it with a Coleman double burner, and the range was on very often to cook breakfast, lunch, dinner and heating water in-between. The gauge marked it as half after the weekend.
