The convenience of having a tank twice the size of the the ones you swap out at the gas station is worth the initial cost - and with the cost to fill it being about 60% less than the cost of exchanging one half the size, it will pay for itself in a very short time. I use it for a gas room heater at a house I'm rehabbing & it works great. The weight of it full is about 75lbs - so still light enough to pick up & put in the bed of the truck. The next size up would be too heavy to want to host around, so this is the best option for me. ... show more

We recently did an outdoor kitchen in our backyard. Part of that was a pizza station I had built. I use an OONI Pizza Oven (which is great, btw), and it runs off propane. If I use the standard 20lb propane tanks, I would have to place the tank on top of my pizza counter because the connecting line is only 3 feet. I wanted the propane to be on the ground, behind my pizza station, that way it's out of sight. So I had a choice, either place the propane tank on my counter next to my pizza oven, or, behind my pizza station I could stack up about 6 pavers and set the tank on top of those, that way the connecting hose would reach. It would work, but it was a hassle. Now with this tank I can just set it on the ground behind my pizza station and, since it's so tall, the the propane line can easily reach from the tank to the pizza oven. It also holds twice as much (if not more) propane so that means it will last twice as long, bonus! The tank arrived in perfect condition. It was actually so nice I almost didn't want to put it outside, lol. The power output seems about the same as I was getting from the smaller tanks, so I really have nothing negative to say about this tank at all. It worked out perfectly for me. I can now hide my tank without having to stack up a bunch of pavers first. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more
