I purchased this 5lb gas tank after my husband mentioned it might be a good idea instead of multiple bottles. (He was right, and of course I won't tell him that.) This tank worked fantastic for 6 nights and 7 days instead of bringing multiple green bottles at $10.00 each on our paddling adventure. It cost us $5.00 to fill and there was gas still remaining. The usage gauge is great to know how much is in the tank, and the handy carrying case made it easy to handle. Great for the environment, and no empty bottles to lug around. Great product. Highly recommended. Quality superb.

Valve did not function. Only able to put one pound of propane in. Valve did not release propane yet it leaked. I am trying to get unit replaced but it can’t be shipped back since it contains some propane. Disaster!!!

When i receved the tank i went and had filled and was leaking propane and now it cant by law be shipped out so im out over 100 bucks all amazon says ship it back whe iv told the it cant be no one will ship it

As the title says I'm very happy with the tank and carrying case. I like the fact the tank comes with a built in gauge. The hose is a different story. The orifice at the tank end is so small that you can't use two burners at the same time (on your typical C*leman 2 burner stove). For instance: If your first burner is on low/medium and you turn the second burner on, the first burner will go out. This situation does _NOT_ occur when using the 16oz green canisters. This is because the orifice on the tank end of the hose is extremely small. Since it was part of a kit, I naturally assumed the hose would be for a wide range of uses. This hose seems useful only for a stove with one (very small) burner.
