The weight bags come in handy for those windy days to keep your "tent" from flying away. I use 25lb dumb bells in them. Keeps the sun off you and whatever or whomever is under it. Works well for our intended use (shade on our deck for enjoying the summer). Sandbags work well to hold in place during windier days (about 25 lbs of sand in each bag). Taking the cover on and off can be done by one person with a step stool and has worked for saving the structure during predicted wind. I bought this tent last year- to peddle my wares at outdoor vendor events. Unfortunately, life as we all know it went off the rails, so everything was cancelled. I deployed this tent the first week of May 2021 and it is VERY well made. The peak sits high because of the center supports- looks dynamite. This will last a long time and fits easily in the carry bag. I had other vendors asking where i got it.
