I bought this kit for the variety of threaders in the kit. It has a nice assortment, from thin to thick threaders, and even comes with some strings for hoodies, sweats, and shorts. I used the black string to restring an old pair of shorts. The string works fantastic, and the threader worked well to rethread the string. The case was broken at one of the hinges, but the tools are the main reason I bought this kit. The tools are great, and I love the variety of sizes. Some for thin threads and some for thicker strings. I just put some tape on the broken hinge so I don't lose any of the threaders. Very easy to use, just slide the string into one end of the threader, and start pushing the other end through one of the holes in your garment, and keep pushing through until you have reached the other hole. Works great!! Saved my shorts, and I have a hoodie that needs the string to be rethreaded too. You get several really nice metal threaders, a couple of long plastic threaders and some shorter & wider plastic threaders. It also came with four strings: white, black, gray and blue. It's enough to get you started. There is also an instruction sheet showing you how to use these, plus there is a video from the product showing usage. If you are looking for a kit that includes a great array of tools, not just threads, then I suggest this kit. It will last you quite a while. You can always get threads, but finding a nice assortment of threaders at a really good price isn't always easy. I really like this kit! ... show more

Very easy to use and there are multiple tools depending in the size of your clothing. It took only a couple of minutes to restring bath suit trunks. Very inexpensive and I will never have to worry about losing a string again.

Great assortment of accessories. Easy to use and it comes with a handy instruction sheet. There are multiple sizes of the metal drawstring threaders (the ones that look like gigantic needles), three different flat plastic threaders for threading elastic bands (yellow, orange, green), two different length loop turner hooks, two plastic threaders (pink and blue), four metal clip style threaders, and 2 drawstrings that come with metal aglets.
