Actually, mine were the 25Lb plate, pair, not 45Lb as per above. Anyway - I did not weight them as some may, but presume is at weight or +-. It's not like I got a 20Lb-er or 30Lb-er. They are well finished. I actually prefer the rough matt finish. However, if one cares about "that" - these are all shiny, new and "fancy". I fear the paint like this would chip and etc. - a reason I like the matt, rough finish, or it's like the "stove black" paint type finish. Nonetheless I comment that in case it matters to others. Anyway, the price point put them at just under a dollar a Lb and with tax etc. just over - gross cost. I wait to purchase at under a dollar - I'm in no rush. Pending your market - that's like "used" (so to speak) plates if you can find them locally and not have to deal with shipment. I am very sensitive to my shipment, orders since get many and adding - as these are strapped together, a 50Lb delivery. Its not a big bulky item, but if are sensitive to your delivery folks, consider spacing them out if order more than one set which is tempting at this price point. I feel this is handy to qualify here since I expected them to be sent as two, but separated - which again is important to know since may effect the product purchase experience and can't be separated from it. So, aside from it being what it is, two 25Lb plates, nicely finished to fit a 1-inch bar I could recommend these. I'll add that, in my years of setting up a home gym, these are about the maximum weight plates I'd get if ever were to relocate your home gym. And unless have a "base" start weight of 100 lb which is the 2x45 + a 10Lb Bar one can get where they need to be with these, and a 60Lb start weight on a standard straight bar, 2x25 + a 10Lb Bar.

These arrived in perfect condition and fit my 1" bar easily. Not tight. Solid and easy on the hands. I am very happy with these and shall buy more. A quality weight that does not break the bank.

amazing addition to my walmart athletic works 100lbs free weight starter kit and power rack. these free weights effectively maxed out the capacity. these are are in my apartment stittin on a lil kitchen rug to absorb as much noise as possible when setting them aside. next step in the process is a power bar and bumper plates and legit gym mats

I ordered a pair (two) 25lb plates and it was priced a little over 50 bucks so I said that’s a good deal in my eyes I was skeptical based on other reviews but I got both plates and I’m very happy with my purchase also I saw stuff about how the plate didn’t fit a one inch bar I have the opposite problem it is slightly to big for it which is no issue
