Overall this is a good deal. It comes with a long bar and a couple of dumbell bars. The weights are concrete, enclosed in plastic; they are a little bulky, but are easy to handle. The long bar weighs only 7 lbs. and is 1 piece. It suits my needs just fine. I was looking for something to build up my upper body strength a little. I bought this after shopping locally at Wal-Mart & Academy. I didn't need a "super" set of weights. The clips that hold the weights on the bar don't really secure the weights very well, but I think I can make some kind of padding or something that will fix that. I just started to get back into weight training. This will replace the one that’s on the ground. The bar is heavy duty so I’m sure it will handle the weights I add to it. The package came in three boxes so that was very helpful so it wouldn’t be a very heavy package. I’m starting it at 40lbs and gradually increase it as my body gets used to it. I’m a 45 year old male and for the overall price it’s a fantastic weight set. I’m overall extremely satisfied with it. I will update it in a year to see how the progress goes. ... show more

The weight set came with everything to keep my body toned. I am a 58 year old male on a weight loss journey with a product that sounds like bon jovy! As you lose weight you need to keep muscle so what do you do ? You buy this all in one weight set! It has great clips and between the 3 bars you can do a variety of exercises. It comes with an exercise plan also. The weights are well assembled in plastic. This is a good value for an older person like me or a younger beginner.
