Good quality weights. Easily adjustable. Comfortable grip. The weights have to be in their tray in order to adjust them and there is a small tab that protrudes from the tray to unlock the weights so they can be adjusted. If they are not sitting just right in their tray, the adjustment doesn't work. Be careful putting the weights down as breaking off that tab means the adjustment won't work anymore. The weights don't feel flimsy or unstable when using them for routine exercises. I picked these up because they don't take up nearly as much space in my fitness room as 5 sets of barbells of varying weights (5,10,15,20 and 15 pounds each) would have taken up.

**Updated: These dumbbells are super fast & easy to adjust. I got them in August and enjoyed using them for a variety of exercises during my at-home weight training sessions… cut to 5 months later when a piece of the locking mechanism broke off of one of the dumbbells, rendering it completely useless. I would proceed with caution. ** After seeing my 3 star review here with comments about the locking mechanism breaking after 5 months, the company contacted me and offered to send me a replacement dumbbell free of charge. Great customer service and much appreciated solution to my issue with this product.

I went to Dicks and tried a few other brands, this is nicer than both they had. Bow***x has to be adjusted on each end of an individual barbell...PIA. they did nest back in nicely when removed. The other brand they had was single adjustment (spin pick point) but nesting back in was terrible, was PIA. These ones have a single twist pick point adjustment and nesting back with other weights on carriage is good. Build quality and finish is good.

I was pretty hesitant to purchase these, but I’m glad I did. The adjustments are easy, the handles are nice, and everything is quality. My only complaint is there’s a point in movement where the weight feels ‘off’. This is just because the top portion of the weight is ‘open’ to accommodate the quick adjustments. This does not affect any lifts, it was just something I wasn’t expecting and caught me off guard. After using them, their center of gravity seems to self correct when you adjust your grip. I would highly recommend these.
