Size:12" x 10FT ORACAL 631 is the industry standard in high performance, short to medium term calandered vinyl. This intermediate-term vinyl features solvent-based adhesive and is ideally suited for outdoor or indoor applications. ORACAL is heavier than average wrapping vinyls, making this material easier to work with and handle while conveying greater scratch and abrasion resistance. This film is able to last for 1-5 years. Perfect for floor graphics, wall murals, and outdoor displays.

This roll of oracal 631 was nothing like anything I have ever purchased before. The vinyl was peeling away from the backing while in the roll before I could even use it. I have been buying oracal products for years. Never have I had such a hard time with this. It got stuck to the mat (which can be normal on a new mat but these are old), it got so stuck to the transfer paper (never has this happened) and it was pulling up from the product I was sticking it to. I bought two types of vinyl (631 and 651) for an art project, and I was very pleased with the quality. 631 is removable and 651 is permanent. The rolls looked exactly the same, but there was a noticeable difference in the adhesive strength between 631 and 651. Some takeaways from my experience: 1) 631 is much easier to remove and reposition on your art surface than 651. However, keep in mind that it still might be difficult to pick up and reposition thin/delicate shapes after the vinyl has been placed. It might be more doable on a ceramic surface, but for my particular project, I was cutting out vinyl letters to place onto paper and acetate. When I made a mistake, I could peel off the letters, but when the font was too thin or elaborate, the vinyl could warp and stretch out upon removal -- I couldn't reuse most of my vinyl letters. 2) This vinyl cuts like butter! I was cutting the vinyl by hand with an x-acto blade. I didn't have to apply much pressure at all to cut out shapes and the wax paper backing is strong enough to hold enough most of the time. ... show more

I really wanna give this 5 stars and love it, but I can’t. It is easy to weed, but it gets so messed up when cutting smaller letters. Also on some surfaces it is really hard to stick, it takes some patients. Not gonna lie ill buy from this company again. Just wish there were some small changes.

I used half of this vinyl on errors. For some reason it wouldn't cut through and it stuck to the mats. Even on the settings we normally use it wouldn't cut...The good thing is we had so much left over we had enough for our projects but we wasted A LOT. This also happened with other stencil vinyl and that vinyl wouldn't stick. I wish I could find THAT perfect vinyl. ... show more
