The media could not be loaded. Just wanted to do a little review of this FITVEN freestanding heavy bag I bought from Amazon. This thing had a lot of 5 star ratings so I wanted to give it a try. I gotta say it’s VERY solid. It comes with 16 suction cups on the bottom to keep it planted to the floor. There’s also an option to fill the base with up to 120 lbs of sand. In this video I’m only using the suction cups, the base is empty. And you can see it pretty planted. It comes with decent boxing gloves too and assembly took me 5 minutes. So you can unleash the beast as soon as you unbox it. And it’s only $180 compared to Fight Camps $500. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants a freestanding heavy bag for their home. 10/10

Overall this is a very good bag with good punching gloves, my kids love it. And I think it is good enough for a 250lbs male as well. The suction cups are good, we put it in our basement which only has carpet and concrete, so a plastic mat was placed under the base, with the suction cups and a few bags of sand the base barely moves. Overall very good experience, very nice HIIT workout tool. However the hole to add sand is really small, we spent more than one hour to fill the base, maybe the sand we use was too wet.

EDIT: Seller kindly offered up a refund for my troubles, so I felt it was fair to edit my review. I have over 10 years of kickboxing experience and have broken more than a handful of bags in my time, so it wasn’t too much of a surprise it happened to this one. This bag is probably good enough for 90% of people looking to buy it, just not durable enough for someone with my level of experience. Original review below: This heavy bag was pretty good in the beginning, but started to break down very quickly-after only 3 months of using it for 2-3 days per week. I have 10+ years of kickboxing experience and have broken a number of heavy bags over the years, but never this quickly. I filled up the base completely with water at first and it began to leak from the bottom after 1 month. The screw holes used to hold the suction cups ripped after I threw a kick on it, and it would leak continuously until the entire base was empty. To fix this I ended up filling the base with sand and it was working properly for another month. That wasn't good enough though, as it completely cracked around the top of the base where you screw on the bag itself. It is completely unusable at this point. I had high hopes for this bag because it holds a good bit of weight at the base and could initially withstand some good strikes, but I wish I had gone for one with more durability. Not feasible to buy a new heavy bag every 3 months. I'll be going with a more quality brand next time.

The media could not be loaded. I'm going to cover a few things in this review. 1. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. 2. I'm 60 years of age and never hit a punching bag more then once or twice in my life untill now! 3. The gloves run small so I saved them for my wife, she is swimming in them. I purchased a open finger MMA style and I'm liking them alot! 3. I'm using this bag hard 20 minutes 3 times aweek. Some times I'll do a 5 minute walk by the bag session. 4. The instructions are clear and it assembled quickly. I filled the base with 90 lbs of sand, that took about 15 minutes! Here's what I did, I used a red quick fill sand funnel I purchased with 2 50lbs clean sand. I poured the sand into a 5 gallon bucket. I took a plastic half gallon milk carton with a screw cap lid and cut it to just under half its length And the sand flowed as fast as I could pour. 5. I weekly check all the nuts and bolts sofar so good. I have this set up in my garage on the concrete and it works fine, I can get around 3/4 of the bag easy. Space is tight and the foot print is outstanding for what it is. 6. I think the price point is very fair compared to others on the market. 7. I recived communicate from the shipper letting me know that it does come in two separate packages and I recived a tracking number for each one. 8. See my short video.

Great quality very easy to assemble. Required 3.5 bags of sand (about $15) be patient filling the base with sand. Once ready, the bag can take haymakers and kicks and won’t tip ever. Just an overall great punching bag for starters and polished strikers

The product itself seems very durable and well put together. It took about 15 minutes to get set up, with the majority of that time coming from filling the base. However, I'm having two frustrating issues. The suction is not working on my concrete garage floor.. There is just no suction at all for some reason. Second, My punches are rocking the bag pretty solid and when it kicks back, there is definitely water leaking out of the blowhole each time. I wish it was a bit more airtight then that. I feel I have to hold back on my power as a result of these two issues. Enjoying the product though.
