I’ve been using these for about a week and what I’ve noticed is it has better clarity than the ones that came with the camera.     • Protection but image issues.
They fit but in testing there is a seam in the image so you can't get a clean 360 image. Sad because they are thinner (probably why there is a seam) and seem durable.

    • A decent compromise for lens safety
The 360° stitching is not as bad as with the GoPro protective lenses for the Max, but it is not as good as nothing at all. Having damaged my lenses recently when the camera came off a mount, I wanted something to protect them for the replacement camera I paid for. This is a good compromise for some shots where I put the camera at higher risk, like on a moving vehicle. For higher quality video on safer shots, like handheld or on a tripod, I plan on removing them. They are very tight, which is good, but also something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry to get a cleaner shot. Also, plan to bring a cleaning cloth because you're going to end up getting dust or oil from your fingers on both sides of the protective lenses. ... show more

These work well and add a good scratch protection. Just be aware if you use an underwater case it may make the camera not fit in the housing.

    • Works but Distorts footage slightly
These things took a direct hit from a paintball and the lenses survived! But they do kind of fish-eye your footage so if you want the highest quality possible, look elsewhere
