I had a standard Cub Cadet mower with a bagger and recently upgraded to a zero turn. This bagger is heavy duty but it is meant to be used continuously when it’s on the mower. With my previous mower I was able to switch from bagging to non bagging in under a minute without tools. Just remove the main tube and remove the deck chute that was held on with the wing nut and that was it. Not so with this bagger. In order to switch to non bagging you must remove the entire bagger. This can be done by removing the bolt at the bottom of the frame and lifting the bagger off but it’s fairly heavy and the bolt is not easy to get to. It can still be done in under 5 minutes but you then need to store the bagger somewhere and it’s a little cumbersome to store. I liked the one on my previous mower better because the bagger could stay on the mower without actually using it. Maybe this isn’t an issue for most people but I like to switch back and forth between bagging and not bagging. The clear chute is also permanently mounted to the bagger and it needs to be threaded into the entrance of the bagger. I found this to be difficult to get it threaded all the way due to the friction between the two parts so I ended up coating both parts with coconut oil. Once I did that it went together just fine. For the most part it’s a good bagger and built well but it could have been made to be more user friendly.

Fairly easy to install, just took a little longer than expected, shipping damaged the box, but the parts were fine inside despite being tossed around. Once assembled it has worked great and picks up cuttings very nicely even if I don’t get to mow every week and the grass gets excessively long.

This thing is easily the biggest piece of garbage u have ever purchased. What an absolute waste of money wasted more money than I would need to buy groceries for my family for the whole month… it it a pain in the a** to get on and off. The tube never wants to fit on and off if you get a jam… good luck screwing the chute on without a lift for your mower…. Oh and the bags collect all of about 30 seconds worth of collecting leaves. So do NOT buy this POS unless you want to be super frustrated and want to dump leaves every 30 seconds.

The product came in great, on time, and was easy enough to install. The 2 big problems with this junk are, the clear flex tube screws into the round holding piece at the bagger, but keeps popping out and drags on the ground. The major problem is at the lower level around the base of the round tube. It clogs up every 3-5'. I clean it out, continue to cut, and grass will shoot out for a moment, but then clogs up again. What a piece of crap and what a waste of money. It can't handle simple, dry, pine needles and grass. Don't buy.
