I’m a size 14-16. 205 lbs, 5”6. The XL is perfect on me. I have room to close it as well. The flap on the back gives me a nice waistline when cinched. It has a substantial weight to it that makes its feel more expensive. I absolutely love putting it on. I feel like a diva when I do. Great coat. (Not water proof) but I love it just the same.

The package arrived as expected in good condition. I Have not seen a trench coat that I like enough to buy in years! I like this coat; Nice for dresses, the weight, color, it's double breasted and the fit. Classy! However, I did not like the color of the buttons and the epaulettes (shoulder straps) were too long. I painted the buttons and shortened the epaulettes. For this price I am sure to buy another in maybe a xl instead. I sized up to the xxl for thick sweater comfort this winter. Thanx Amazon/Seller.

I am 5' tall and it goes below my knees, but not to long. Did not need to be hemmed. I had no intention of keeping this coat once ordered but it was to late to cancel. I'm so glad! It is well made with many details and the fit is perfect. Very elegant

I always wonder what makes people take the time to write reviews. Then I put in this coat! Wow! The fabric is soft to the touch, not that plastic type feel. It is NOT straight like many trench coats. It is A-line which gives it a beautiful shape, in at the waist with a slight flair. The back is tailored in a way to add a memorable statement as you walk away. I have no idea why there are so few reviews…sometimes that makes me skeptical, but in this case I’m so glad I didn’t pay attention to that, At 5’8, 230 lbs, 38G, I bought an XL as the size chart indicated. It fits over a shirt or blouse or a thin sweater. If I wanted a thicker sweater underneath, I may have sized one size larger.

The coat itself is really well made and nice weight to the fabric, and I like the fit. But... the sloppy rumpled up wrinkled messy way it was shipped literally rolled up & shoved tightly into a clear thin plastic bag!? At 89.00 + S&H? Not cheap. I was excited to recieve it. Wow. Disappointed. Can't get the deep wrinkles out! It's a beautiful coat. But I'm going to need to return. Sadly. I'm considering reordering, and hope a "New, well packed & shipped" identical coat arrives.

This is a beautiful coat. A very good value. And the material is not thick but it is a heavyweight and flowy. I actually may have done a review on this before. The epaulettes were too wide for the shoulders. I had to remove the button and move the epaulette in and put the button back on, but it was worth it because of the quality of the coat. Highly recommend. Very flattering. Goes in a bit at the waist and has nice detail in the back. Cloth belt.

I liked the look of the trench coat on me when I was standing still. However, when I moved around the house I noticed I could not move my arms very well. It was tight and I could not lift my arms. I also noticed the strain on the buttons by my chest. I am a 36H and it was a similar experience as trying on button down shirts that were too tight.
