The ruler is a very good quality ruler. It stands up vertically just fine when leaning against the wall, meaning it's not thin at all but still flexible. The markings are exact and very clear.

It is slightly flexible so is a lighter-weight metal. Inches on one side, centimeters on the other.

    • Imperial measurements are off, 1/16th of an inch per foot. Metric is spot on.
I bought this for the metric side. It is accurate enough for me to do my laying out with. So I will not return it. The ruler measures 24 1/8, for an actual 24". I know I am not the only one that has commented on the Imperial measurements being off. Unless I got old stock, it's on ongoing problem.
