I have used them for pruning, and cleanup, cutting wire, and even hacked an extension cord in half. I am ordering another pair because I find them useful both inside and out, The adjustable feature actually works. It allows me to share them with my helper who has much larger hands. These are my favorite clippers ever. I had an identical pair which I accidentally sent to the landfill with the yard debris. So I sought exactly the same new pair. Fiskars makes great knives and these are equally high quality. The best thing about them is that they have an adjustment for hand size. I have small hands and other clippers stress my hand muscles, especially when doing a lot of pruning. So I’m happy to have found a replacement pair!
