  • A simple, elegant design for a rod rack.
First, this rod rack is very easy to assemble. It comes in three pieces, and requires just two screws to secure everything. The pieces fit together very well. It probably took less than ten minutes to put it together. (It also comes with a tool which is supposed to be a Phillips head screw driver. You are better served by providing one of your own.) Second, it has a very low profile and, so, a very low center of gravity. It is very stable. If there were no rods in it, it could be a tripping hazard, but that is not a problem for me. I have plenty of fishing rods. With the exception of fly rod combos, it also allows the reel to remain attached to the rod. As long as the distance between the rod butt and the reel seat is greater than 175mm (6.88"), the fishing rod will fit. There are two diameter sizes. There are four of the larger holes (40mm/1.57") and eight of the smaller holes (35mm/1.37"). As I said, it is a simple, elegant design which works very well. ... show more

  • Only works for some poles
This rod holder was really easy to put together and is really sturdy once assembled. It does have two different sized holes, with 4 larger holes for larger sized rods that are marked so. If you have poles that have large hand grips they may not fit. If you have hand grips that are very short they may not work in here either because they will not touch the bottom of the holder and will be unstable. You kind of have to have the right rod with the right hand grips to fit into here. I also had a hard time getting a bunch of poles that actually fit into the holder to fit in without running into each other (the reels kept hitting each other). If I had the reels hanging out from the edge the poles would lean out too far, but if I have the reels on the inside, I can only have a handful of them in the holder. So if you have just the right sized poles with the right sized reels, this might work for you. ... show more

  • An excellent independent storage solution for as many as twelve fishing poles
Constructed from bamboo, an excellent material for withstanding moisture, this rack is not only ideal for storing wet fishing poles but also a breeze to clean. Regrettably, my fishing poles spend most of their time in the garage, necessitating a storage solution, be it a wall-mounted rack or one like this. Before acquiring this rack, I kept my fishing poles in a large bucket, leading to tangled lines and difficulty maintaining an orderly arrangement. Given that my garage wall space is fully occupied, installing a wall-mounted fishing pole rack isn't an option, making this standalone rack an ideal solution for my needs. I'm particularly fond of the rack's lazy Susan-style base, which eliminates the need to circle around it to access a specific pole. Additionally, the varying sizes of the holding holes accommodate poles of different dimensions, which I find very practical. ... show more

  • Quality wood... It spins!
I like that it is made of good quality wood and the holes are nicely cut out with all mitered edges. It is about 11 1/2 inches in diameter and just under 7 inches tall. There are 4 LARGER hole openings which are about an inch and a half. The other holes are 1 and 1/3 inches in diameter It does spin and that is nice added feature. It does NOT hold all size rods. As it says in the listing, it is made for straight rods not pistol grips. It does not work for fly fishing rods and it doesn't work for bigger rods.... my musky and catfish poles didn't fit. So before purchasing make sure to check the diameter of your poles. I will say that most of my poles did fit. The other thing to know is that when you put the poles in the holder, they don't really stand up straight and when you go to spin the holder, they flop around a bit. Not a big deal but it kind of annoys me. Also, it is a little tipsy if you put all the poles on one side.... so just balance your poles out evenly. Overall, I am happy with it. It's got some things I like and some I don't. It works. ... show more

  • Not amazing
It’s an ok holder. The holes really aren’t that big. I have some rods that won’t fit. The swivel base isn’t great either. It’s a little sticky and doesn’t swivel that smoothly. It will work for now.

  • Space-Saving Superhero: NBINGB Fishing Rod Holder!
My husband was initially skeptical about the NBINGB Fishing Rod Holder. He was worried its small size (compared to what he envisioned) wouldn't hold all his fishing poles securely. Boy, was he wrong! This holder is a space-saving superhero! It easily accommodated all his fishing rods, with room to spare. The 360-degree rotation makes grabbing the exact pole he needs a breeze, and the bamboo construction adds a touch of rustic charm to the garage. No more tangled mess in the corner! This holder transformed that space into a neat and organized fishing nook. We're both kicking ourselves for not getting one sooner. Highly recommend for any angler looking to tame the tackle box chaos! Five stars all around! ... show more

  • Works great for SOME rods.
Unfortunately, half my rods won't fit in it. Like fly rods, and casting rods with short grips.

  • Nice rod holder
This is very well made and on par in terms of build quality and materials used with it's competitors. The ease of use is also really great. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in picking one up. So do yourself a favor and stop hesitating and get one already.
