I got this for my 4.5yo son, and it's perfect. He wants to take it with us whenever we go on hikes, the park, or just about anywhere really. Its plastic, but it has worked out great because he sometimes trips and falls while we hike. He has fallen flat on top of it on rocks, left a lil scratch on the guitar (probably prevented him from getting a scratch instead) and was still good to go. Look, even kids need to be encouraged by good sound. This doesn’t even produce an ounce of acceptable sound, does not stay in tune (I play a d know how to care for instruments) and is not very easy to strum or hold for a child. Spend more…buy better.
