I decided on the Fender FA-125 mainly for 2 reasons: the affordable price and Fender's reputation as a builder of quality guitars. IMO any company that has survived for almost 80 years must be doing something right. When I opened the box I was blown away. This guitar has one of the most beautiful gloss finishes I have ever seen. The media could not be loaded. I recently ordered a Fender guitar through Amazon, expecting the usual quality and care associated with the Fender brand. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.The guitar arrived with zero bubble wrap or protective padding in the box — just the guitar in its case inside a thin cardboard box. For a fragile, high-value musical instrument, this is completely unacceptable. It’s frustrating to see such carelessness from a brand like Fender, especially when buying through a major platform like Amazon. Great guitar. Got it on special for $110. Box came open on side that says “Open Other Side”. But guitar was in perfect condition. Tuned guitar and it plays great. Low action. People complained about sticker on pickguard, saying it is hard to get glue off. The pickguard has clear plastic covering it. The sticker is on the clear plastic (see photo). The gig bag is very thin plastic and cloth with no padding. It will not protect the guitar. Giving 4 stars because box came open and the gig bag will not protect guitar. ... show more

Totally love this guitar! After setup, it sounds awesome. Frets are nice and smooth. I was able to add my art work (guitar tattoo) to it too. Overall a great guitar!
