Works GREAT. I could not justify $90 from a big box store, and when I looked at Amazon I found this blade. I used it to cut the edge piece for tile. (Not tile) The aluminum edge that finishes the tile. It cut easily and fine finish.

Slices through Aluminum stock.

On a 10" 15A Craftsman Miter Saw this thing just ripped through 8040 Al Extrusion, 8x80 mm Al Flat and 20mm Thick Walled Al Tube. I was way impressed! Previously when using a rotating blade for metal cutting I've only ever used cold cut saws; they and the respective blades are made for cutting metal. For soft metals this thing is an equal. The only caution is to make sure you can easily cleanup the Al chips - they go everywhere. And wear your safety glasses! I expect things to 'work' for what I paid for, so I don't often give positive reviews. Since this this blade worked beyond expectations I thought I'd give others the benefit of my experience.

Works, true, half the price of what what is sold locally.

I've cut 1/4 inch aluminum with a 12in chop saw with this kind of blade (red brand from big box store) and keeping it clamped is a must to reduce noise and to make a clean, safe cut. Ripping it was a little more sketchy. Lots of noise and vibration. Clean cut but not as good as the chop saw. That may also be the bearings on a 20yld portable table saw. Worked fine, never bucked if I didn't keep the part square to the guard. Makes a huge mess which is typical. Part was cool. Used WD 40 as lube but probably didn't need it. Makes the chips stick to everything. Only needed to make 8 cuts so can't attest to longevity. My truck bed slide is almost done so I doubt I'll ever use it again to find out how long it lasts. Worth it for the few times I'll need it. Now for the welding. FYI, tig welding doesn't work well outside in a breeze if you don't have much experience. The arc follows the gas. Gas blows all over. Need a tent to finish this off

FANTASTIC CUTTING PERFORMANCE! Exceeds expectations! Read details.

1. The work piece is 7/8” x 3”, 6061-T6 Aluminum flat bar 2. The blade is new and I use a lubricating wax to prevent chips from sticking to the face of the cutting teeth which is very bad for the quality of the cut and the life of the blade 3. The saw is a 10” Delta standard. I have modified the standard mitre gauge as shown to give myself a much larger clamping surface for secure clamping and safety 4. I use a bar clamp (as shown) for very secure and safety (keeps my hands away from the blade). The clamp shaft has been modified to allow use of a 1/4” ratcheting box end wrench (as shown) because the clamp is almost always too close to the saw table to allow effective tightening by hand 5. The SURFACE FINISH (as you can see), as well as perpendicularity, and squareness of the cut face were excellent. 6. I used only light finger pressure on the back of the bar clamp to push the piece thru the cut. 7. The cut ends were only Luke warm to the touch 8. PLASTIC; I HAVE CUT A 2” x 3” x 6” long UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) plastic block as a test, with the same blade and with the same excellent results 9. I can’t speak to the longevity of the blade because I haven’t had it long enough I CAN SAY THAT I AM DELIGHTED WITH THE CUTTING PERFORMANCE. I’VE BEEN IN THE MACHINING BUSINESS FOR MANY YEARS AND I HAVE SELDOM SEEN A CUTTING TOOL PERFORM LIKE THIS ONE ESPECIALLY AT IT’S PRICE..A FANTASTIC VALUE!

Works Very Well
