Excellent construction, instructions and packaging. Fast shipping. Responsive seller. Easy to set up with an extra pair of hands and a ratcheting wrench and socket set. Be aware that these pieces are all welded and the assembly will likely not be flat to the floor the first time you tighten everything. You'll need to loosen a couple of bolts and hold it in place as you tighten everything down again. No big deal. Anything you assemble like this at any price will need the same massaging to true it up. Impossible to beat at the price. Quite simply, one of the best purchases I have ever made. I wish I'd bought it sooner. If you've ever had an olympic bar on your chest and no one around to help, you'll appreciate it. I can push myself much harder on squats and benching. The package comes in various boxes and the small one came 2 days later so I thought I was missing parts. I put it together alone, it wasn't too hard and it would have been very easy if I had a person around to help. The only reason I didn't give sturdiness a 5 is because it does move slightly laterally but it's not a big deal. For the money, it's well worth it. ... show more

First off, this item ships in 4 separate boxes. I received 3 boxes and I was concerned however, 3 days later the 4th box arrived. I’m guessing it was more of a FedEx issue rather than the seller but either way if this happens to you, don’t panic like I did lol just give it a couple days. On to the smith, it’s a pretty sold smith and especially for the price. Honestly the price is fantastic considering it uses ball bearings on the rollers, knurled bar, plate storage, pull up bar, and band pegs which is what actually sold me. Typically band pegs on smith machines are a premium option so I loved that the Firesmen smith has them included. Couldn’t be happier. Order the white option and it looks great! ... show more
