I got this for my birth certificate, marriage certificate, and will. All of these fit in the large pocket with room to spare. There are two other packets, one of which will hold my cash reserve, and the other, I haven't decided what will go in it. There is also an envelope that seems like silicone that I am sure is not fireproof, but handy nonetheless for less important documents. I am pleased to have these in case of fire or flood.

Got these to keep important documents inside my fire safe as added protection. As bonus it comes with three sizes, so I will keep my passport in the smallest one. I don't have a way to test against the listed rating, but they seem decent and close with a zipper plus the added flap with the fire resistant material. I did see if these would work as a faraday bag and they do not.

This bag would be perfect for carrying files through the rain or to the beach. I was able to burn straight threw the seam with a bic lighter and I assume the same is true for the zipper so forget any kind of house fire. waterproof zippers do exist but this is not one of them I suspect they are basic nylon zippers which are great for durability but not water resistant at all. I was able to get water in the bag under a sink so any kind of submersion would fill the bag completely so will not protect it from floods.

I put these Fire Safe Fireproof Document Bags to the test. I put a blank paper in the small one, put it in my fire pit and had a BBQ (lol!) Parts of the bag as well as the paper inside were burned. I then sprayed it with my regular garden hose (not high pressure) and the paper got wet inside. They seem sturdy and look like they would be good in the case of a fire, but I think I'll keep looking. However, I can use them as a way to organize things when I'm packing or in my safe.
