  • What a quirky addition to my car
This is such a hilarious little thing to casually have in your car. I don’t smoke, so this will be solely for laughs. Mine has not gotten hot being plugged into the outlet like a review I read said. It’s nice quality, paint job is perfect and it’s nice and shiny. I’d recommend to anyone looking to add some quirk to your ride. ... show more

  • Good quality. Funny.
I had one for 5 plus years then it just fell apart one day. So I ordered another one.

  • Fits BMW well, once you remove the washer
Higher quality than I expected, heavy aluminum. When I first installed it in my 2011 BMW X3, the missiles did not fire and it actually jumped out of the socket when it got warm! I removed the black washer so it sit a little deeper in the socket, now all the missiles fire when the button is pressed and it does not jump out of the socket when it gets warm. One star was removed due to needing to remove the washer to be safe and the fact that the button tends to get hot if pressed too often. ... show more

  • OEM Look
It's true that most cars/trucks don't have a missile button, but this looks like it came stock in my truck. It's a little loose and will fall out easily, but I put a piece of tape around it and it stays in fine. I don't know how well it will work as an actual cigarette lighter because my truck doesn't have that--only a cig lighter plug. Most items like this look really cheap when they arrive, but this doesn't. I got it for my UTV, but it is so awesome looking, I put it in my brand new Titan truck. ... show more

  • FIRE HAZARD
The heating element came unscrewed from the top and fell down into the lighter socket of my car causing the heating element to overheat. I smelt a burning smell while driving to work one morning and immediately pulled over and turned the car off. After some investing, I found this lighter to be the source of the problem. Fortunately, I had a pair of pliers on hand to remove the overheated element and prevent further melting of the surrounding interior molding. If this detachment of the heating element were to happen in an unattended vehicle, which has constant power to the lighter socket while the ignition is off, I'm sure it would result in a fire. ... show more

  • FIRE AWAY!
The Fire Missiles car lighter is great. The feeling and the texture of the car lighter is smooth. The text on the otp that says "Fire Missiles" is printed in good text with good quality - there's no blurs on it. It's stylish and printed in red and silver anodized, and then under it in small text it's written 12V. It looks great, and the function is nice. I lost my original cigarette lighter, but this is doing the job great. I have no issues or no complaints with it - it fits perfectly in my car and it looks great, and when people get in the car and look at it the first thing they ask about is :Why do you have something that says Fire Missiles in the car? When I show them what it is, they're excited. It's cool - simply put. ... show more
