This Fire Beauty Arrow Geometric Cutout 2-in-1 Outdoor Fire Pit Heating & BBQ is a great choice for smaller spaces. It’s not too big or too small; it’s the perfect size for our patio. The assembly process is relatively easy, but there’s a bit of a catch. You have to unscrew screws that are already on. First, remove the bottom panel screws to attach the metal piece, then unscrew the side panel screws to attach each side panel. On top of that, you need to use the screws and nuts in the provided wrench to hold the nuts in place. You’ll also need a screwdriver of your own to complete the assembly. This took me about an hour because I kept unscrewing screws and discovering that I needed to unscrew more to put the two panels together. It would have been much easier if all the screws and bolts were separate in zip bags. Despite the time-consuming assembly process, this fire pit is a great addition to our patio. I can’t wait to grill some sausages on it soon. It definitely looks great on the patio, but I need to add seating for others to enjoy it too. To make it safer, I think a mesh bottom would help keep hot embers from falling out. At least it has a wire mesh on the side panels. I’ll probably put this on concrete to use, but I’m currently displaying it on my patio rug. I’ll probably get some flat decorative rocks or bricks to set on the ground in the yard when I’m using it. This will keep it safer as well. This fire pit has a bit of weight to it, but it’s not too heavy. I was able to pick it up and move it easily. I’m impressed by the versatility of this fire pit. You can store the items it came with on the grill lid or on the top. It also is convenient and easy to use in different ways. The design is absolutely beautiful and adds a great touch to our patio. It looks great and invites people to gather around. It’s a wonderful addition to our outdoor space that will help us create amazing memories and enjoy delicious food. Nothing beats the experience of cooking on a fire pit at night, watching the sun set and the stars come out. This fire pit is a great investment for our family. It will also be great for the cold months to come for keeping Ilya warm outside. I like how I can move around, outback or out front. This is an attractive fire pit and an interesting alternative to Solo-style round stainless steel models. It's small, portable, and the cutouts on the side give it a neat look. There are mesh screens covering the side vents and a top screen/cover as well. It's less than two feet square (20" specifically) so note some of the listing photos make it look larger than it really is. The downside is that it's just painted sheet metal. I can't imagine this will last more than 1-2 seasons without rusting badly. If you really like the design I would recommended painting the entire thing *BEFORE* ever using it with a heat-resistant chimney or BBQ paint like Rust-Oleum's spray product. The included grill is not stainless steel and is very light, so I'd consider that to be disposable. While the design looks neat it is indeed square. It will be hard to clean out, since there is a lip around the top; the only way I can see to empty ashes and debris would be to flip the entire thing upside down and shake it. Or vacuum it out, which presents a fire risk unless you let it sit for a long period (days) after using. There are no drain holes in the bottom, so it will fill with rain water if left outside, and can't be washed out without inverting it either. There is no cover provided-- a simple nylon fitted cover would have been a good addition. I've docked one star for the LAUGHABLY bad assembly instructions. Think "IKEA diagrams" but in random order, with literally random numbers giving no hint of assembly order. These are probably worse than having no instructions at all frankly. After discarding the poor excuse for instructions I assembled the fire pit in about ten minutes, which wasn't terrible. Some packing decisions were puzzling though; for example, while 8 bolts were provided in a small baggie (with a silly toy wrench but no screwdriver) another 16 bolts were threaded into the sides, so had to be removed BEFORE assembly. Why do that? You'll want an electric driver to put it together (there are 24 bolts) and a small combination wrench or pliers will help; the little stamped steel "wrench" that was included is pointless and went right to my recycling bin. For $90 at the time of this review I feel this is overpriced. While attractive, the "thick carbon steel" construction isn't that thick, it's lightly finished, and will almost certainly rust in the first season of use. There is no cover, no drain holes, and no easy way to clean it out. And those intructions... Not recommended unless you really like the looks and are OK having to buy another a couple of years down the line. (By contrast, I have a round fire pit with a cover and a drain hole that we've literally been using for 20 years now.)

So... I like this pit. It would be used best for juat a fire, but if you are going to cook on it, certain things will definitely work better than others. This is primarily because there's about 9 to 10 in before you get to the charcoal. The heat isn't substantial enough to cook some meats, unless you were to use a lot of charcoal to raise the height. There's also no cooking lid to hold in the heat. Now to everything else. This fire pit took us about 25 minutes to put together. It's pretty easy and I feel like most people would be able to do it. We did use our own tools though what's cut down our assembly time. Everything about the fire pit feels well made and fairly durable. It's also aesthetically pleasing and I like how it looks. I like that it came with some tongs to move the grill with and also a handle that you can use for the top. It's pretty decent sized and you can definitely get a nice warm fire going in this. Because of the design, a lot of the heat comes out of the sides as well as the top. This is nice for a colder nights. For the price, I feel this pit is a good value for the money. You might find a better deal on Black Friday but as of right now I feel this is adequately priced and is a good purchase to make if you're looking for a good fire pit!

Use - This is a great min fire pit that is actually just the right size that it can travel and go on campouts etc. Well if you have a SUV, jeep, truck etc that can fit it. Not only can you use it for heating, but you can use it to cook on. The key though is to cook whatever you want to use before you use it as a first pit for warmth. Otherwise you will have to wait or make the fire reduce some so it doesn't cover over the top. If you have the lid on top while burning, then you can not lift it until the fire goes down. And of course you need gloves or something to keep from burning your hands. When first starting the fire, the lid did adjust a tad bit bending up a little from the heat. I do love this design where it lets some of the light out on the sides and helps keep from the sparks jumping out as well. Definitely more contained versus an open fire pit. The main issue I had were the instructions. The instructions indicated preassembled screws and the pictures made it look like there should be separate screws that needs screwed in. Part of the screws were already in some of the pieces which you will need to take out those ones, then line up the pieces and put the screws back in. It does NOT come with a screw driver, or at least mine did not. If you are using a power one, some of the areas are narrow so you will need to accommodate for that. Value - Price can vary all over for these as some are lower and some are higher so it is about in the middle. Other than instructions being tad confusing, the product is excellent for a traveling fire pit!

This is a small square metal fire pit with geometric arrow-shaped cutouts around the sides, an elevated base, ventilation openings, and mesh pieces intended to help contain sparks. Visually, it’s actually pretty cool and has a nice modern/industrial look. Assembly was an adventure. The directions are essentially nonexistent, so you’re mostly left to stare at the pieces until they start making sense. Once I figured out how everything was supposed to fit together, though, assembly itself was easy and took about 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the finished product wasn’t very reassuring. First, this thing is VERRRRY small. The listing photos make it look considerably more substantial than it feels in person. More importantly, the metal is really thin. (I have included photos for scale) The metal also became skin-burning hot just sitting in direct sunlight, which did absolutely nothing to increase my confidence in putting an actual roaring fire inside it. Ultimately, I was honestly afraid to use it for a real fire. It might be cute as a decorative piece or perhaps for very limited use, but when it comes to something designed to contain open flames, I want something that feels substantial and safe. I would not recommend this as a real, functional fire pit.

This is a 20"D x 14.5"W x 20"H firepit which I would consider thin/med carbon steel. When the item arrived it appeared to be new however there were multiple scratches on the base layer. The screws appeared to have been damaged perhaps by higher torque electric drill/screwdriver. I debated returning as I was initially going to use as an eventual gift item. I decided to give the product a try. I assembled the product relatively easily. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The firepit includes a very lightweight grill as well as a top spark screen/cover. It also includes 2 extraneous handles for lifting the grill or lid. It is relatively shallow but will use a fair amount of wood. The pit does provide sufficient metal screening for spark arresting and a pleasant visual experience. Based on prior experience with similar weight carbon steel products I would expect 1-2 years of use out of this firepit prior to retirement. At $90 With a description of “thick” (definitely not heavyweight), and with the pre-existing damage I am giving this 3 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this was to put together. It came in a manageable-sized box, and all of the parts were packaged nicely and securely. Assembly was pretty straightforward and didn’t take nearly as long as I expected. The geometric cutouts are such a fun detail and definitely add a little extra something once the fire is going. It looks much more interesting than a basic fire pit, and I really like the way the design adds to the overall atmosphere. Overall, a nice-looking fire pit that was easy to assemble and has some fun character to it.
