For as easy as these were to assemble, I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they felt when I sat my not so small self on them. I needed a new set for the kitchen island we just installed and didn't want anything too ostentatious or expensive or something that was too vintage or modern lol. Tough cookie, I know, but these fit what I wanted. I liked the grey color because it was a lovely shade that didn't have the dirty look some greys can get. The fabric was soft to the touch and there wasn't any areas that looked or felt thin or worn. The foot rest were a nice touch without sticking so far out that it affected the way it sat under the island. The height adjustment was a nice thing too since my brother in law and nephews are all over 6'3 and having a bit of leeway there makes us all happier.
