If you want to upgrade your home and facilitate your entry while adding a layer safety to your house, i would recommend getting this for your door. It is easy to install if you follow the instructions. It works pretty well and the fingerprint reads really fast allowing a fast and smooth entry.

I never leave reviews but this thing is pretty sweet. Super easy to install. Works super smooth. Super easy to program, looks fancy. Good deal I’d say for sure. Is nice to not have to worry about a bunch of keys for everybody. Black looks smooth and fit right into the standard dead bolt hole.

This lock was easy to install and program, and it seems sturdy. Fingerprints often need to be programmed twice. It always forgets the first time you set a new fingerprint up, and it needs to be set up again. After that, it's fairly smooth sailing, although the fingerprint reader can be very particular about the angle of your finger, which is probably a good thing. The biggest problem is that the low battery indicator is not more obvious. The light flashes green when you open the lock, and it flashes red when your code or fingerprint is not accepted, so a red light flashing when the battery is low is not much of an alert. The alert needs needs to be something different from the normal function actions--maybe a repeated or prolonged sound, like a fire detector--in order to be effective. If you use this on on the main door to your home, carry the key that comes with it. Otherwise, you are locked out when it dies.

I’ve been very impressed with this lock so far. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take much time, even without professional help. The fingerprint recognition works quickly and accurately, which makes daily use very convenient , no more worrying about keys. The keypad is responsive, and the anti-peeping password feature adds an extra layer of security, which I really appreciate. The auto-lock function is also a great feature for peace of mind if you forget to lock the door. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a secure and convenient keyless entry option. Pleasant with Aaron professional response who ordered a quick replacement.

*Update* Don't be like me and not thoroughly read all the instructions and look at all the pictures. Something kept tickling the back of my brain about the lock that I'd missed something important so I went back and looked at the instructions and locking mechanism...I missed the part where you can make it longer! With some elbow grease and a dish towel (it is slightly greasy and kept slipping from my grip) I was able to turn the latch 90 degrees, pull out, then pull back the 90 degrees to lock the length in place and ta-da! It lined up perfectly. After feeling rather foolish for a minute that I missed that I easily put the front and back plate on and easy peasey the lock works perfectly and was SO easy to install. So don't be a me, if it is too short, make sure you have it extended to the full length before you give up. Original: Bought this a while ago and finally got some time to install. Apparently I did not do my measurements right on the front door because the deadbolt does not fit. The actual deadbolt itself is also smaller than the one I had previously, which just feels less secure. My old dead bold has a slot where I thought I'd be able to make this one work with it. Was able to fully connect everything, was excited...until I realized that it holds the lock (deadbolt knob may be better wording) about a 1/4" to the right of the unlock position. I'm sure there is a way I can fix this, I just got a bit defeated and gave up for the time being so I can go back with fresh eyes and attitude. I'll update it if I'm able to adjust it. For now, I can manually lock and unlock the door with the key, but the electronics don't work (they try) because the knob for the lock is not set to one of the three positions. I got this as a set, so I have one for my backdoor too. Now knowing the measurements, I checked between the two doors and the front door bore hole is about 1/2 inch deeper in than the back door (so I probably measured the back door assuming they would be the same, silly me). So I have a better feeling that the back door will go on smoothly, I just got frustrated and a bit defeated feeling and had to walk away from the project, so it'll be something I try next weekend. (I also have a different style of the same brand I tried next and that one just about ended me, I have steel wrapped doors and it requires three holes to be drilled in to secure it...hence the over-dramatic feelings, that one is the one I really lost it on).

I absolutely love this keyless door lock! It has been such a convenient upgrade and has made coming and going so much easier. One of the biggest reasons I love it is when I’m coming inside with my hands full of groceries, bags, or other items. Not having to dig around for keys is a huge help and saves so much hassle. The fingerprint feature and keypad work great and make getting into the house quick and simple. I also really like the auto-lock feature because it gives extra peace of mind knowing the door locks automatically if I forget to do it myself. The lock feels sturdy, works smoothly, and has been a great addition to our home. It’s one of those things you don’t realize how much you’ll appreciate until you start using it every day. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

This lock was easy to install and the instructions for programming it are very easy to read and understand how to do all programming, including changing the master code, adding fingerprint, removing fingerprint, Individual codes, and explaining all the ways to lock and unlock. It is versatile in regards to the ways it can be locked and unlocked including using a code, fingerprint, or key (which can be duplicated at any hardware store or auto shop for extra members of the household or emergency use). I am still unsure of how long the battery will last as we just installed this unit about a week ago. When using the code to unlock the door it works perfectly, However when using fingerprint it is hit or miss, at times I may have to try several times before it recognizes my prints, other members of the household have also mentioned this issue, however the code is always an option if the fingerprint recognition fails. Additionally, in order to prevent wearing down the numbers of the codes we have decided to use the numbers that are not in the code when lock-in the door. You have to hold any button for a couple of seconds to lock so we just cycle through the numbers that are not in our codes to do this, that way they will fade quicker that the ones that are actually in the code, as we primarily try to use our fingerprint as the unlock method. The unit will not lock with the fingerprint pad it must be one of the buttons. We made an extra copy of the key and put it outside as a last ditch effort for unlocking in case the code or prints fail to work or if the batteries (4 AA required) are dead. I also love the fact that we have the option of a “onetime use code” Justin case family or friend needs to enter. I plan to update my review after we have utilized the unit for some time.
