I recently decided to upgraded to a smart door lock, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home. I love the ability to control the lock from my phone. With the fingerprint function I don't have to worry about my kids loosing their keys. In the app I'm able to set up onetime passwords for other people that won't need permanent access to my home. The instructions were clear and straightforward and I had it installed and added to the app in under 30 minutes. Because of all of the advantages to this lock I decided to upgraded the back door also. Now I'm able to control both doors from a single app. I was also able to set up our fingerprints and use the same codes on both locks. The only disadvantage is that both locks use different keys and the only way to fix thus would be to take them to a professional locksmith. But that's not really a problem because we only use the fingerprint or code for the locks. Now we never have to use a key.

I wanted a keypad entry for my garage. I wasn't planning on dealing with the more advanced features, so my review is predominantly on the non-network functions. And those all work pretty well. I haven't had any issues with the basic code/fingerprint/tag options, and installation is just as easy as any other door handle. Take note that a deadbolt likely won't fit in the position above it, so you either have to use a door that doesn't have one, or put this on top (which would look really weird). One of my favorite things are the multiple options for opening, so my household has fingerprints registered and everyone else gets a tag that I can add or remove as desired. Much better over just having one option. I do see the appeal for a hotel type use, though I'm not that use case.

We got this for our office. Sometimes it doesn't work if it rains real hard. It stopped remembering the fingerprints I put in after about a month. I ordered this for the TTLOCK app that we had used previously so we enjoy that. We have it to where it's unlocked during business hours, but a couple times when my employees have gotten to the office 2 hours after closing, it is still unlocked. It works for now I suppose.

It allows me to give access temporarily to friends and family either need access to the house or just drop something off in the garage to set up. It is very easy to set up And smart app is very helpful. The actual door knob Is made of nice quality. I would recommend it to anyone!

Review is for VOLIBeL Fingerprint Door Lock, Upgraded Keypad Door Lock with Handle... We picked this up to replace the current keypad lock we have on our door. This is well designed, with loads of features, but some features will require you to make an additional purchase, which I didn't like. If you do not purchase the gateway, you will not be able to unlock the door remotely, which is handy. You would need to be near the door to unlock via bluetooth, and that has a very limited range, so I removed one star because of this. Thats ok though, you can use finger prints, keypad, card, the app via bluetooth, and as a last resort, use the key. This installs quicky, if you have ever replaced a door lock, this is a snap. The price verses features is not bad for what you are getting.

I accidentally got this model not thinking very clearly and completely missing the fact that my current front door has a separate handle and deadbolt, not an attached one like this. So I’m not going to keep this, but I did install it and test it anyways just so I could leave a true review. In the testing, I will say it installed very easily. Since I was retrofitting to an existing door that already had a modern lock on it, I didn’t have to cut any new holes or do any further work on the door. The bolt was easy enough to center in the hole since it extends a bit so it was very easy to install. It took about 15 minutes to uninstall my old lock and put this one in. Another couple minutes to replace the strike plate and cover the holes with cover kit since I was using an all-in-one handle and lock rather than separate ones. Like all locks though, I had to adjust the deadbolt so that it would lock automatically and not require me to pull the door closed to lock it. This required a bit of work with a rotary tool like a dremel to open a bit more space on the strike panel to let the deadbolt enter easily. After install, I got the app and testing the various digital features. Fingerprint, keypad and NFC work great. Remote control though requires a separate bridge that connects to home WiFi and either Alexa or Google as a hub (no Apple HomeKit as far as I could tell). I don’t have the “Gateway” as they call it so couldn’t test anything remotely. Worth noting that you need the additional hardware if you’re planning on using those features to provide remote access at all. The aesthetics of this are nice as well. It has the brushed metal look to it though I think it’s actually high quality plastic. Either way though, the whole thing feels very well made and despite not being a name brand like Yale or August, I would put it right up there with those. Unless you desperately want to pay an extra $100 for name brand, I’d very much recommend giving this a try.
