I gave this a 4 instead of 5 stars, because it's clear it was cut off the end of a larger roll of vinyl. That in itself is not really an issue, but looks like they cut it with a tree saw blade rather than something really sharp, as the edges on both side are just chewed up and at a bare minimum it just is a bad presentation. Bad enough you'd likely be inclined to return it when you opened it. Not nicely cut like as shown in the photos on the listing. That said, the vinyl quality is sufficient, and it includes a really nice snap blade utility knife to help with install. That thing is really sharp and probably the best part of this kit. Also includes your standard plastic scraper. Since you're going to be trimming the vinyl anyway to your project, the rough edges on the roll isn't likely to be much or any problem for you, but I thought it needed to be mentioned. Consider if that matters to you or not. Once our early season winter weather settles down here I'll actually be able to get out and apply some of this and can update this review on how that went. ... show more

    • Great for flat surfaces.
This wrap worked really well for flat surfaces, however when I tried to use it on more curved surfaces it was a little difficult to use. Applying heat helped to get it to adhere better.

This is the first wrapping vinyl I have attempted to use- and it went pretty well. Just watch a lot of tutorials on it, there is a real art to getting it right! Easy to apply, and pretty stretchy to get it to conform to complex curves.

I ordered this vinyl to black out my car. I have lots of chrome trim around the windows. You have to be careful not to cut the rubber seals around the windows when trimming and the stuff is not very sticky either. I would definitely recommend post heating with a heat gun or hair dryer at hot setting in order to get it to stick better. ... show more
