I used these to replace the sediment and both! carbon cartilages in my standard, 3 canister, RO system. The only thing I would say, is the fine carbon filter only came with a rubber gasket on one end, and if you tighten the canister like that, it will most likely leak, no matter how hard you crank down on it. I just took one gasket off the old filter cartridge, and reused it, and it's perfect. We've been using these filters for several days, and haven't noticed any strange or offensive tastes, smells, or colors. It appears we've returned to a normal, well filtered, situation! ... show more

These filters are a good value for the money, and they appear to be well made too. They fit perfect in a standard 10 x 2.5 inch housing. I did not experience any issues with the filters sealing properly. Do make sure you rinse these for a couple of minutes before you install them as there may be a small amount of fine particulates on them, especially the carbon filters, which is normal. I did test the flow on these filters and they didn't seem to significantly reduce volume or pressure, so these work like they should. What the number of rating stars mean to me........ I don't give out 5 stars like participation trophy's. It's not fair to manufacturers/sellers that make and sell OUTSTANDING products. 5 stars = Items that stand above the rest. Something innovative or of surprisingly high quality. 4 stars = A high quality, above average product. These sellers are doing everything right and need no improvement for me to do more business with them. Generally MY highest rating. 3 stars = Acceptable products. But room for improvement on price, quality or design of the item. 2 stars = Below average. Probably should pass on these unless you are desperate. 1 star = Unacceptable junk. Total lack of customer support can also put you here. Avoid at all costs. These same filters are sold by many. They fit perfect and do a really good job of removing sediment, dirt and some off smells/flavors from well water. Smells/taste really depends on your individual well. The most outstanding thing about these particular filters is the PRICE. A lot of sellers slap a fancy name on some filters and want $70! Get these cheap. They last just as long! ... show more

I replaced the elements on my home filter which I depend on for clean water for my fish tanks. The test I do on the water came back as good as I could expect after installing them.

This 3 stage filter set is the perfect fit for my water filtration system. I was able to replace the old filters and now the water is up and running again with improved water pressure. I would definitely order these again.
