This is a nice microphone, perfect for if you're starting out vlogging. Sound quality is great, adjusting the mic took a bit of time as this is my first time using a gaming mic like this. The noise cancellation works great, you just need to set it up to the right setting with the particular computer you're using. Worked good on discord, it's better though to have it close to your mouth. It picks up a lot more background noise when it's set on the table and you're not speaking right on it.

The construction of the mic is fairly sturdy for the price point. It has a clear sound, but I wouldn't recommend the noise-canceling feature. I simply ran it through Garage Band on my Macbook Pro to get a feel for it. I do voice-overs from time to time, and while I wouldn't use it for the final product, I would definitely use it for auditions and rough cuts. I love that you have all the control on the actual mic ... from volume, mute, noise cancellation, and a headphone jack. Makes this mic a great option for on the go set-ups. I also like the fact that it has a solid base, or I can use my own mic stand. The LED changing colors is also a nice feature. All in all, for the money, I think it's a fun little mic to have around. I could also see using it for Zoom meetings with the nice mute button on top.

I ordered this mic as I am starting to look into doing some content generation, so I wanted a mic that didnt cost hundreds of dollars yet still had some decent audio just to get things started. This mic fit the bill. This mic is marketed mostly for gaming, but I am reviewing it as a mic for content generation/podcasting. I have a Mac Airbook M1 and this mic hooked up to it with no problems. I brought up my podcasting software and it worked with it flawlessly. I like that it has a headphone jack right on it so you can use it to monitor your own voice. When you hook up the mic the system shows that there is one mic input, and it has two outputs as well. Chat and Game. I could use the podcast software to set one up as a monitor and one up as a content output. The knob on the front of the mic let me balance between the two so it was comfortable to use while listening to what was going on. The recording it made are of real good quality. I did notice the mic needed to be closer to me to really pick up good quality sound. It if was a little further away, like arms length, I did sound a little distant. When I first start recording I noticed it was picking up some of the ambient sounds around me. Then I remembered that it had noise cancellation feature, so I looked and sure enough, I had not turned it on. I switched that on and all the ambient noise went away and it really sounded like I was in a studio. Its a real good started mic. I recommend this mic for sure.
