The egg fidget Is mechanical (no magnets) and is on a track. When sliding it provides nice haptic feedback. It is not silent though. It is easy to push back and forth. The egg shape is nice in hand and has some weight to it. I personally prefer magnetic fidgets that are not in a track. They provide more pronounced thump and feedback compared to those mechanical egg. Good for fidgeting and looks classy but I would not recommend for children as most kids would find the action boring.

I've been using this daily for a month now, and I have no complaints. The tactile feel is great, and I love the little clicking sound. This isn't a silent fidget, by any means, so probably not best for in a meeting, but if you have your own office, it's not loud enough to distract others. It's been holding up well mechanically, and the color is still vibrant. Right on the lip of the egg, the paint is starting to wear, but it's only noticeable if you really are looking. It's also in my pocket all day long along with headphones, a wallet, and a pen, so it's definitely not pampered, but like I said, it's still holding up well.

This is very high-quality. It comes in a little box with the fidget and a small allen wrench to adjust it. It slides easily and is small enough to not be very noticeable. It has a nice weight to it. Definitely a good purchase if you like sliding fidgets!

This fidget feels great in my hand and has a nice weight. When you slide it, the clicks are satisfying. The clicks are definitely audible, though, so this wouldn't work well in a place where clicks would be distracting. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but still easy to hold on to and play with. Fidgets are really individual - the motion on this one isn't perfect for me, but it's well made and I'm sure some people will love it. It comes in a nice box so it would be a great gift, too.

This metal fidget egg has a great weight and a smooth, high-quality feel. The sliding mechanism gives a satisfying tactile feedback with a subtle clicking sound. It's compact enough to carry around and perfect for relieving stress or keeping hands busy. The only downside is that the mechanism starts out a little stiff, but it loosens up with use. Build quality seems good. Overall feel of the metal parts is nice. My complaint only has to do with the actual fidget mechanism. It feels a bit too tight. It might get better with more usage but I haven't been there yet. I've seen many fidgets of this type and while it feels great on the outside, it falls short on the fidget satisfaction. Of course this is all subjective.
