I'm very happy with this purchase. The shipping weight of 82 pounds indicated to me that it is an adequate gauge metal for a cabinet of this type, and the weight played a part in my decision to order this one. Sturdy and high-quality materials used. I was afraid the competitors' lighter-weight (and less-costly) cabinets would be flimsy. It was carefully packed for shipping; packed for size-efficiency and protection from damage. This also means the parts weren't packed in the order of assembly. So your first step would be to unpack and sort parts by the labels. Assembly instructions are easy to follow. It took me about three hours but I wasn't rushing it. I definitely recommend anchoring it to a wall to prevent tipping when the upper drawers are opened. I didn't use the wall anchors provided because I couldn't mount it flush to the wall. I have it in-front of a window with curtains, so I used a metal strap as shown in the third picture so it could stand a few inches from the window to allow the curtains to fall behind it. I drilled three holes into the back of the cabinet (probably a bit overkill) where needed near the center and used the three extra sheet metal screws that came with the assembly hardware. I used my own drywall screws into the window sill, and my own metal strap. The drawers are on full-extension rails that make it easy to get to the rear-most files. The drawers are mounted securely to the rails and cannot pop loose like the sliders in cheaper cabinets. The safety interlock works well that prevents opening more than one drawer at a time. And the one lock, locks all three drawers. The width allows for two columns of hanging letter-sized folders, and the center gap is handy for storing office equipment like calculators, staplers, postage scales. If you use legal-sized folders this center gap will be smaller. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of the materials and sturdiness of the cabinet and drawers. ... show more

It amazes me the things that China can accomplish as far as merchandising. This cabinet is designed to be shipped in a compact box and assembled by the buyer. The packaging is excellent; no damage and easy to unpack. The assembly may be challenging for some, but I did not have a problem. The drawers took some "persuasion" to fully seat and slide into the cabinet. Other than that, this was an easy assembly and a fine cabinet for $169 (purchased Sept 2024) - it seems just fine. As expected with Chinese-made self-assembly products, the assembly hardware (screws, nuts, and bolts) are not the best quality, but I did not have any issues. The screwdriver that was sent with the product is junk, so don't even try to use it. Buy something like the Vessel 220P2150 ball grip #2 Philips screwdriver to make the job easier with much less chance of damaging the cheap-ish assembly hardware. Take this for what it is worth. It is not the same quality as an $800 HON cabinet, but it is good quality. I expect years of trouble-free use from this cabinet. ... show more

The file cabinet arrived well packaged and protected. There were a few minor "dings" (see photos) that were easily straightened out. Assembly instructions were clear. Assembly itself was not easy, but quite manageable for one person. The included screwdriver was OK, but I would highly recommend using a screwdriver with a flexible shaft (see photo) to get into the tight spaces required for assembly. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy the cabinet was. The metal is of reasonable thickness and the finish is quite good. The drawer sliders are of good quality. There is some resistance in opening and closing the drawers. I will attempt some adjustments to alleviate that issue. Overall, I am quite happy with the purchase. ... show more

very flimsy material. Can't hold any type of weight. Put together 1 cabinet and the drawers would not close properly ... returned the other 2. I would not recommend buying these cabinets. For the price you can get a better cabinet that is already put together.

The Fesbos cabinet is sturdy and functional, with smooth-sliding drawers and a great safety feature that prevents more than one drawer from opening at the same time, which helps avoid tipping due to weight. It offers plenty of storage space and fits nicely in my home office. However, the delivery experience was disappointing. The delivery person practically threw the package onto the sidewalk, and one of the pieces arrived slightly dented, making assembly more difficult. The assembly process itself was a bit awkward, as some parts required getting inside the cabinet to tighten screws. The instructions weren’t very clear, but with a few extra minutes of focus, they were manageable to understand. The last drawer doesn’t close completely, likely due to the damage during transit, but it doesn’t significantly affect its usability. Despite these issues, it’s a sturdy and practical cabinet for organization. I hope future buyers experience a more careful delivery process. ... show more
