It is sturdy cabinet. It looks really nice. My only complaint was it is hard to assemble, mainly because you need to apply extra strength to put the screw. I had to wear glove to complete the assembly. It took me about 2 hrs.

1: this came shipped with metal corners to protect it. I want to give props for that, because one of the shipping protectors was dented, meaning it did its job to protect the contents. 2: In terms of install. I was able to do this on my own with the manual, however you will want to use a drill or electric screwdriver, not the little one it ships with. I would say you need a moderate amount of manual handyman skills. If this was 1950 I'd say an average amount but sadly these skills aren't taught anymore and the three stars is more of a commentary on the average person's abilities. ONE WARNING: If you do not install it into the wall a full top drawer can cause it to topple over unless the bottom is also full, and even then..... BONUS: my hardware package had extras of some of the more numerous items. I only hope that wasn't because others didn't have any and was a "just in case" mechanism. Overall it feels only slightly less flimsy than some of the items in my work office from places like Steelcase. The metal is probably a bit thinner. The drawers are smooth. They open with the right amount of force, glide smooth, and have a solid catch on close. I'm looking forward to this keeping my chaotic file system more organized and cleaner. ... show more

This took me more than 2 hours to put together. The hardware and even a screwdriver was included, but the screws could not be tightened flush to the metal. Once I finally got it together, the bottom drawer kept getting stuck and required additional work until I could get it functional. The cabinet tips over when the drawers are filled. It came with hardware to attach to the wall, but I'm a teacher with cinderblock walls, so that was not an option for me. I spent $200 of my teacher money on this cabinet and I feel like it was a complete waste. Even if I wanted to send it back, I would have never been able to repackage it. Took me 2 1/2 hours to put together. A handyman I'm not. Biggest problem was getting the drawers to go flush with the frame. Like one of the videos shows, you have to "pop" the bottom in (by pressing hard or smacking the bottom of the drawer) so that each of the the 4 tabs at the bottom become fully inserted. I really like the finished product, the flexibility to go vertical or horizontal with folders and legal or portrait. Takes lots of files, very roomy. And really like the camel color; was apprehensive when I ordered it but it fits well with room I have it in. ... show more

I had a high need for a new file cabinet - the one I had was no longer suiting my needs, was of a cheap quality, and one of the drawers had broken. I did a bit of research on Amazon and came across this lovely specimen. After reading a few reviews I took the plunge and am incredibly happy with it. There was lots and lots of styrofoam in the packaging but it did it's job and there was no damage to the parts at all. Like others have mentioned in other reviews, I would *strongly* recommend using a *fully charged* power screwdriver. Some of the screws are hard to get started without that extra "oomph". While the assembly instructions are easy to follow, my power screwdriver ran out of juice halfway through the job, and it took me probably a half hour longer than it could have to finish. And oh yeah, like the video says, after inserting the drawers, be sure to press down on each corner until it is firmly in place. When all was said and done though, I was EXTREMELY happy with the end result. It looks clean, simple, and professional, and fit perfectly where I needed it to go. Yeah, sure it won't withstand a fire, etc. but it's solid enough for my home office needs. Highly recomended! ... show more

I must say i was very satisfied with the customer service and in the timely manner that they responded and resolved the issue. I had purchased the cabinet and unfortunately had a problem with one of the drawers. I contacted the seller and they try to help me solve the issue at first. When we was unable to resolve the problem with the original cabinet, they immediately offered to send me a new one or a refund, I’m happy to say they they immediately sent me a new cabinet and the cabinet worked great. Not only were they very helpful, but they responded quickly to the issue and were very kind and professional. I would recommend this seller based on my experience, they stand behind their product. I read as many reviews as possible prior to purchasing. Many people mentioned the excellent packaging, and I have to agree. A few digs in the outside packaging, but absolutely no damage to the product itself. I carefully unpacked and inspected each piece, and separated by part #. Then I started the assembly and the timer as well. Many people commented that it took them quite a while to assemble, or that they had issues. It took me 90 minutes, and that includes taking a drawer face off and redoing it (yeah, I assumed a step and paid the price). Now so.e of you might say 90 minutes is still too long, but I had knee replacement surgery exactly 3 weeks ago, so it was a bit difficult to move like I'd normally move to assemble a product like this. I needed a file cabinet to go with a new desk. This file cabinet was perfect. It's not too high, and the construction is sturdy. The drawers move smoothly, and I love the gray-and-white combination. What impressed me was how it shipped. You need to make sure to take your time unpacking it. A sheet metal cap on each end protects it from damage in transit.
