If you don’t mind a little grease on your hands soak them in some sort of oil/lubricant overnight, then dry off excess with a rag. Missing the rubber seal on one of the bearings. I don't trust the colored rubber, probably not as good or durable as normal black rubber. Overall judging from the quality control likely just normal off the shelf bearings with a customized grease seal. Grind on the chamfers is not very high quality. Not precision bearings. Over a decade into owning my 5200 the blade bearings finally gave up. Vitamix specific bearings seem to be $45-75 depending on where you get them and you only get the two bearings for replacement, no spares. Exact replacement, fit like a glove and turn a bit more smoothly than the bearings on the Vitamix replacement blade I purchased a few months ago. Hopefully these last as long, but if they don't I have spares now! ... show more
