Assembly was the only real hurdle here. The instructions aren’t very clear, and if you don’t pay close attention to the orientation of the tubes, you can easily put something in backward and end up having to redo parts of it. I made that mistake early on and had to backtrack, so I’d definitely recommend laying everything out first and double-checking each step before tightening anything down. Once assembled correctly, though, the spreader performs very well. The hopper has plenty of capacity and easily held a full bag of seed and fertilizer without issue. The 12-inch pneumatic wheels are a big plus—they roll smoothly, handle uneven ground well, and make it easy to push even when fully loaded. In use, the spreading coverage is excellent. It can cover a large yard quickly, and in my case it handled about an acre without any real struggle. The adjustment for flow rate works, but it isn’t very intuitive at first, so it takes a bit of trial and error to dial in the right setting for your material. Overall, once you get past the initial setup confusion, this is a solid, capable spreader that feels sturdy and gets the job done efficiently. Good performance for the price range compared to similar options.

I am not even going to waste my time with an extensive review because this spreader isn't worth my time. To be honest I am not able to even finish it because its missing screws and nuts. Even more important is that the axle doesn't have the hole needed to keep the wheel in place; as you can see from the photos, there is no hole whatsoever. Even if it did have all the pieces I doubt it would last long because the bushings and nuts are made of thin and cheap plastic, not heavy but lightweight and weak like in a dollar store product. I urge you to keep looking and don't even save this spreader for later because at this price (or any price) its not worth it.

This review is for the "Fertilizer Spreader 80LB Capacity, Walk-Behind Push Broadcast Spreader with Hopper Screen & Rain Cover, 0–10FT Spreading Width, Seed & Salt Spreader, 12" Pneumatic Wheels, 25-Level Flow Control." As the title says, and the photos show, the molding is a bit warped. Even the plastic screen is warped. My only caveat is that some granuals, especially small ones from lawn feed, escape the trap because the plastic there is warped upwards. That's a simple fix with a heat gun, so I'm not too pressed about it. Half a star removed for that... My last half a star removal is for one of the metal posts that attach to the wheels. It's turned a bit so it doesn't align well onto the plastic wheel lock pieces. One is fine, but the other looks like drill holes were off. Assembly wasn't a lot of fun. I should have used a bench but did it on the floor, taking me twice as long. Once I got it assembled it rolled really nice and the trap adjustment worked fine (less the aforementioned issue). It doesn't have a way to measure how open the trap is, so I have to make a marking plate so it can tell me how far open the trap is. Seems they forgot to add one of those. It didn't show one on the listing so no deduction for that. Overall, it seems pricey for what I received, but those big tires roll nice on the lawn and if I eyball the product ejection, I can pretty much tell if I'm spot on spredding the right amount of product.

First thing. It was challenging putting the item together. The instructions were not very clear and because of that I made a mistake in the early steps that prevented the bucket support holding the wheels axel from fitting well. You need to pay attention on the orientation of the tubes otherwise they can't be properly secured. I found that out almost at the end when I had to start all over again. Once the item is ready. I was happy with the efficiency and performance. The bucket has good capacity to carry a whole bag of seeds/fertilizer. The wheels (12 inch pneumatic) are big and strong, they provide great stability and mobility. It was not hard to move the unit around even with a bucket full of seeds. The spreading range is fantastic. I was able to cover the whole yard in very few passes. The control for the amount of product getting dump is not very clear, so you need to try it and adjust accordingly until you find the right amount. This spreader worked well for me having to cover a full acre of grass seeds and fertilizer. Price wise it is well in range compared to similar items and it does deliver the expected service.

This is a great sized Fertilizer Spreader. It's not too heavy, but large enough to carry more than typical in order to stop less to reload. The mechanisms working well. Its gear appropriately and the portion control lever works smoothly. The pneumatic tires work much better than the narrow hard rubber tires when loaded down. I think for the money it would be a better value on sale, because currently it's a little expensive. Overall, I like this setup and think it’s well built.

The fertilizer spreader was quick to assemble. The wheels are thick and maneuver around easily. The handle is comfortable and squeezing the handle to release the fertilizer doesn't take much, a light squeeze and it opens up. Works great and you can use it for more than just fertilizer.

The 100lb capacity is genuinely useful; I covered my entire yard (approximately 7500 sq ft) with fertilizer in one go, saving considerable time. The 30-level flow control is a standout feature.
