I got these to put in my Corny kegs, but tried one to aerate my wort after brewing a batch. Well, they're too fine for an aquarium pump to generate pressure to push anything thru them. I have no doubt they'll do fine for their intended purpose, but figured I'd post this note. I haven't bought any, but have read the 2 micron stones will work with an aquarium pump. Research this yourself since I haven't done it....

I did not expect to be able to get over 2liters/minute output but got this and more. I've been getting up to roughly 10PSI with no issues and the bubbles are clearly small and my gas quality (using it as a filter) is improved. Thanks Ferroday people! It easily satures 2 Liters of liquid in gas with roughly 5-10PSI in seconds. The pictures attached are time-lapsed over 10 seconds.
