These are quality wheels and are a big improvement over the plastic wheels that come with most chairs and will mar a hardwood floor. That said, the hub is not an anodized piece of metal and the plastic is not quite the color shown. These wheels are a MUST for an office chair. I wont ever own another chair without them. One of the things that always frustrates me about office chairs is the flimsy, very small, plastic caster wheels that come with the chair. They are hard to roll around in, almost impossible on carpet, and they are almost always the first thing to break. With the rubberized material on these wheels, they make rolling a chair very smooth. Their large diameter size makes easier to mover around, even on carpet. The metal frame and hubs mean they are going to last a long time. They were extremely easy to install, and when you first sit down, you can immediately notice the difference. I highly recommend these wheels. ... show more

I am so glad I upgraded my old office chair wheels to these casters. These wheels are amazing! They are very sturdy and high quality. They glide softly and smoothly across my hardwood floor, like rollerblades. They have completely renewed the feel of my older chair. I also love the dark blue and gold colors, very stylish. My old wheels were collecting dust and hair of the floor, and I was always clinching every time I rolled around, fearing that I would scratch my floor. I am so happy that I no longer have to worry about that with these new wheels. The installation is super easy, pull the old wheels out, push the new ones in, it's that easy.
