Sturdy, easy half hour assembly, expandable, compact storage, and good looking table. The veneer has a waterproof finish similar to formica, but I'm sure it's much thinner. If you're looking for something that will hold up for 20 years, I doubt this is your solution, and you should be buying a much more expensive table. I like it and use it daily.

Surprised at how many ppl said table smaller than expected, it tells you the dimensions. It is accurate. It is more narrow than maybe most would like, personally it's plenty for me. Good for apt living or if you have kids. My 3 little ones love it, especially the benches. The box it came in was in shambles, however no damage to table. The box has pieces of board surrounding that say "not for assembly " they are only there to protect the table. Overall if you read what you are buying and like the look it's great, very sturdy, easy to assemble. Everything matched up perfect. Ratchet was a nice touch. I would say it's definitely worth the price, coupon to help pay shipping is great too. Can't expect something this heavy to have free shipping. And it is heavy, especially with flimsy box you will need help carrying it. I'm a pretty fit guy and wouldn't recommend carrying it alone

This was one of the best furniture assembling experiences I've had. There are only 3 kinds of bolts and they give you a ratchet with the only 2 bits you need. Looks good too and pretty sturdy, the only issues are that the middle piece grain is opposite of the rest of the table, but the espresso color hides it well. The other issue is that there were small points of damage, most negligible, but the middle piece had a 5 inch crack but I covered it up with a brown marker and it looks good now. Overall worth the money compared to other Amazon tables that tend to be flimsy and cheap.

I have a narrow dining room space. This table is perfect. Very easy to assemble, I love that it has a storage space for the center piece if I choose to take it out to make the size smaller.

My main priority was functionality and price when I purchased this. It didn't cost a lot and it looks it. This is the only table I have purchased from AMAZON. Maybe they are all low quality. I don't purchase from Amazon as much anymore because everything has gone down hill.

Easy to assemble, assembled it by myself, directions were simple. Longest part of the process is the benches. Once bench are put together it’s pretty much done.

So I totally love this table. It looks super cute in my small kitchen. It is kind of for smaller spaces but if you have company over or just want a longer table, they extender helps out a lot and it looks fabulous. I did have some trouble with the shipment.at first they were unable to deliver because they got damaged on the way. And then I finally got it and I had a piece missing but customer service was super helpful. They help me throughout the whole process were super understanding, and even sent me some money back. Overall, I totally recommend the table I recommend working with these people and yeah good luck.
