This rod is perfect for heavier applications. Works great with large spinners, larger swim baits, buzz baits, and frogs. This rod is strong, sensitive and comfortable in the hand. Amazon in this case gets a huge, huge ZERO for packaging. What in the world is wrong with these people to send a $300.00 rod in a flimsy square cardboard box without any special padding so that the rod could just bounce around or be crushed during shipment. I've ordered a number of high end Fenwick rods through Amazon over the last couple of months and all came super packaged in awesome tubes. It makes me think this was a return rod out of its original factory packaging. Rod seems fine and I hope I don't have any problems with unseen damage or blank bruising from this stupid packaging. ... show more
