I've used the rod for a couple months now and haven't found any issues besides the handle getting dirty easily being white but that should be expected. I would prefer the hook keeper to be above the reel but I knew it wasn't when I purchased it so can't fault anyone there but myself. Haven’t bought a bad 13 fishing rod yet. Action is spot on. I know it doesn’t matter but it’s also beautiful. Only issue I have is how they ship. All the 13 Fishing rods I’ve bought have all come “floating” in a square box. The box was crushed when it got to me. Luckily no damage to the rod. I like everything about the rod except the location of the hook keeper. It is lower than most rods and is in between the grips of the handle. It sticks in my head when I am casting. I removed it and like the rod way better without it
