The rod performs and looks pretty nice. The white grip looks like it would be slippery, but it's not. The rod has held up nicely. I don't feel like it will snap easily.

Great quality and super sensitive. I was using abu Garcia that were size/action and rating the same and branched out. This is a great rod and my second one I purchased. I would recommend this rod all day. For the price it stacks up to all the big names.

Haven’t bought a bad 13 fishing rod yet. Action is spot on. I know it doesn’t matter but it’s also beautiful. Only issue I have is how they ship. All the 13 Fishing rods I’ve bought have all come “floating” in a square box. The box was crushed when it got to me. Luckily no damage to the rod. I've used the rod for a couple months now and haven't found any issues besides the handle getting dirty easily being white but that should be expected. I would prefer the hook keeper to be above the reel but I knew it wasn't when I purchased it so can't fault anyone there but myself. I liked this rod and price so much I just purchased a second 13 rod in a different model to try it out next. ... show more

I own a few rods in this price range. Favorite white bird a Shimano slx and bass pro shop brand rod. They don't compare to this quality and sensitivity. This thing really is amazing at this price.. The rod end broke off when I hooked a bass. The material is cheap. I only used it a handful of times within 3 months. Unfortunately the return window has ended.
