This small lamp is everything I wanted it to be, small so I have space to stack books on my nightstand. The shade is much brighter colors than shown. The rocker switch is close to the lamp so you don't have to lean way out of bed to use it. Nice natural wood base. Easy to assemble, good thick cord. I am pleased with it. Light is bright during the day and at night great for reading or looking at the clock at the 3 am wakeful hour.

Absolutely love this lamp! It’s surprisingly very bright for how small it is. It came with a light bulb (soft white) and was easy to assemble. The cord is nice and long, too. Perfect for my coffee bar!

I really like the size of this lamp and the fact that the shade covers the bulb entirely, shielding my eyes from any glare. It comes with a compact bulb but a standard size fits just fine. I have a bulb in mine that has no blue light, just a bright warm glow for reading in the evening that costs more than the lamp. I’m very satisfied with it.

i liked the compact size of this bedside lamp for use on a small drawer shelf in my dining room. I have tight spaces but more than the typical kitchen stuff due to herb gardening and canning jars, etc. Having to piece together accessories for utilitarian functions can be difficult. The price on this little lamp was perfect for experimenting, but I knew I might need to make a few modifications to the shade. The shade was a tad too tall for the tiny wall space I wanted to place it. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the bulb is quite bright. I loved the look of the linen shade, but after plugging the lamp in, knew it had to be dimmed more to preserve my eyes at the more prominent height. I am an experienced crafter and sewist, so I measured and carefully cut 1.5 inches of the top of the shade. Then I notched segments around the cut edge of the top wired piece and hot glued it with a low temp gun back to the cut edge of the bottom piece by alternating the notches outward and inward. It worked effectively. I had a roll of burlap and was able to lay it directly over the shade because of it's straight shape, again using a low temp glue gun. Then, folded over a narrow hem to the lower edge and a 1" hem inside the top edge to cover the notches inside. The burlap overlay provides just enough "dimming" but still allows light flow without as much glare through the existing shade. I think the bulb should either be less bright (puts out some heat) or the shade more opaque on this lamp design since it can't be dimmed. The only thing I wish for now was that the cord were longer. I like where the on/off switch is positioned from the lamp base, but I will need to use an additional extension cord to reach the wall socket about 8 feet away. I don't think it will be a problem for electrical concerns, but with some reviewers mentioning burnout of the lamp capability within the first few months, I am a still a bit leery. Hopefully my lamp will be fine and live a 'long life' since it won't be used every day ... just when I need a bit of extra lighting to the sideboard below it.

These two lamps are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something to illuminate the room without being too bright. It took be less than five minutes to set them up and get them plugged in where I wanted to use them. I like the minimalist design - didn't want big or overwhelming. Perfect for a small space. It's a little brighter than I expected, but I don't mind that.

This lamp is perfect for what I needed it for. I absolutely love it! It’s brighter than I thought it would be, I loved that because I didn’t need a night light. It’s small which also makes it fit perfect on my night stand. Love everything about it.
