My kid loves it for role play. It's foam, but it still hurts like hell to get hit with. It won't actually do any damage, but you'll still have to deal with the sissy kids whining lol. Tell them to toughen up and have fun.

I have other Liontouch toys that my young son loves to play with. My complaint with this toy is that the way it is weighted it gives a pretty hard whack despite being foam. It’s not as cool in real life as it is in the picture. We were surprised when we opened it. I wouldn’t have paid this price if I had known. Also, this is pretty hard foam. I bought this for my son for his 11th birthday and he absolutely loved it! It is really an impressive looking weapon in both the colors and detail. It is sturdy as well and has stood up to his role playing.
