  • Works well, makes a mess, but does what it says!
This, MAKES A MESS! But it works good as long as you keep the feed line up and dry. Once it gets wet, it will start to cake up and stop working. After a little trial and error, got it working with ease and it works well. Super handy for a home DIY'er

  • Messy!
Ok - this works really well - would be 5 stars if it were not for the mess. This is great for taking the rust off my wrought iron fencing, but leaves a heck of a mess! I have figured out how to trap it on the other side, but still, not able to reuse the sand. Good solution for many things - be prepared for cleanup! ... show more

  • Cheap parts, annoying to use
I've now tried to use this twice (for the same project that still isn't done). This last time I used a more powerful pressure washer in case that was part of the issues that I was having on the first attempt. All of the parts feel super cheap (H.F quality) and the metal parts arrived with rust already on the welds. The most annoying part is keeping water from entering the sand feed line. Any bit of moisture leads to clogs and having to stop, clear the line of the sand and moisture and trying again. It usually clogs in the metal tee section of the wand, so it's not easily seen. IDK if I'm moving too much, but water gets into the sand tube almost always and I'm not even aware until I stop spraying and see that the sand is clogged. It especially seems to happen when I start and stop the water spraying. It's just a small amount of moisture, not filling the connection or tube or backing up, but it's enough to jam the flow. I thought that it was very easy on the sand use the first go until I realized that the line was packed and I was just power washing and not dispensing any sand. I thought this would be quicker/ faster easier than dry media blasting the patio furniture and then power washing before repainting, but with all of the "testing" and starting and stopping, it's taking longer and more of a nuisance. I tried raising the sand higher than my hand sweep in a smaller container as suggested, but that was only a minor improvement in the flow and I kept pulling the tube out of the sand bucket. I will keep trying, but on 2 attempts over 2 months, this not working well for me and I could have been finished using the dry sand blast, then powerwashing. ... show more

  • Really good setup
I always wanted a wet sandblaster and this one works really well. It is a really nicely put together set that has everything you need to hook up to your pressure washer except the sand. Simple and effective and a reasonable cost for this too. Definitely a good buy.

  • Its ok
This is mostly OK. It isnt going to replace a dedicated sand blaster, and as others have said it doesnt produce much suction on a reliable basis so you really need the sand in an elevated bucket so it feeds more easily. Otherwise, if you just need a little extra abrasion for cleaning your driveway, maybe stripping loose-ish paint from siding or something, this is cheap enough it is worth a try in my opinion. ... show more

  • It works is about all
So this does work YES, however it isn't easy and definitely won't be replaced a regular sandblaster. I needed to get some old, layered paint off some tractor wheels, and while this does work, I honestly feel it was more work than it should have been. Maybe if you could have an air pump in your sand to keep it aerated and not settling it would work better. I was hoping I would be able to accomplish commercial results with value price, however if you've got a big job, you should just pay the extra for someone to do it. ... show more

  • Cheap Useful Addition to Pressure Washer
This doesn't have the power of a true sandblaster, but it adds extra stripping power to your pressure washer at a ver reasonable price. It's also less likely to accidentally damage the surface being cleaned, especially warpage from heat buildup. It also puts less dust into the air to have to clean up or breath. The kit includes extra bits, and even safety glasses. The hose clamps with thumbscrew tighteners are handy. Mostly, this one seems solid, of good quality, and cleanly finished. Only small manufacturing glitch on the one I received was that one tube end had not been cleaned up and bevelled after it was cut (see the bottom one in pic 3, compared to the top one). This makes it harder to attach the tubing and may even cut the tube or your fingers with the sharp edges. Thankfully, it's an easy fix with a bit of cleanup with a file or some light grinding, but the quality control should be improved to avoid this. ... show more

  • Nice sandblaster if you set it up right!
This wet sand blaster is very nice and is much preferred over a dry sandblaster for every reason besides being able to reuse the sand. The good thing about a wet sandblaster is that you don't have to deal with the dust like with a dry sandblaster and it also seems to work better as well if you set it up just right, It seems to suck up the media much better than a dry sandblaster but you will certainly get clogged still depending on your media and how dry or clumpy it is. Connected right up to my pressure washer and I even tested it on my small pressure washer which worked as well but maybe not quite as good as the big pressure washer. Good quality materials and should last many years of regular use of taken care of so I can highly recommend it! ... show more
