I bought these rolls to wrap my fingers when sawing, polishing, wire pulling, etc. at my jeweler's bench. It really saves my fingertips and I've saved myself from what would undoubtedly be bloodshed (which is the situation prior to wrapping my fingers with this tape). It sticks to itself so well that it can be difficult to find the end of the wrap to remove it from my fingers. To remedy this, I slide an Exacto knife blade (blade up and facing away from my finger) between the tape and my finger skin and slice it open. Voilà! It comes right off then. We've been using similar products for decades to make waterproof finger bandages. It's also well known among woodcarvers to make finger guards to protect against accidental cuts. This package was a great value. I've paid as much for two rolls as I did for this whole package. The quality was exactly what I am used to.     • Use a fillet knife & roll between stuck rolls

Tape seems lighter in weight and less sturdy than "Saf-T-Tape" also found here on Amazon. The rolls of tape were bonded together tightly into a long tube. It was a struggle trying to separate a roll until I discovered that using a fillet knife and rolling the tube of tape rolls under the knife separates the rolls easily. Place the fillet knife between the rolls, do not saw or try to cut through, simply roll and press down on the fillet knife between the roles and they come apart easily. Once i had a roll separated I wrapped my fingers with the tape. It's stuck to itself well. I had to use a few extra layers because of how thin it is, but it worked well enough. ... show more

    • Not sticky, not cut resistant

I bought this after losing the end on a roll of the RSC brand and getting frustrated - I figured it would be good to buy in bulk. But I didn't realize how big the difference is across the brands. This tape is far less sticky. Like, not sticky at all. If you cut a strip off entirely, you won't be able to tell which side is the side with adhesive, that's how not sticky it is. So you can wrap you fingers all you want, but once you start working, it starts sliding off. I had to use other tape to tape it to my fingers. Also, not really cut resistant. I slipped with my knife and it sliced right through (luckily just a knick). I'd just sharpened it, so it was pretty sharp, but I'd say this tape offered me about the same protection as if I'd wrapped my finger in a bit of blue tape. (which I had to do anyway, to keep it on) ... show more

use to hold posts on doberman ears. Everyone is singing the praises for this product. If i had actually saw what the product does and difficulty to use I never would have ordered. Can't return as I opened the package and used some.

I rely on reviews so I thought I would post one myself. I work in a shop and we do a lot of laminating. This works well to protect the thumb and pointer finger when filing edges and corners, especially if the edges are sharper then 90 degrees. Laminate can be sharp as a knife so this does the trick in keeping the fingers from getting cut up. Some of the other guys don’t like it but I find it helps- it’s all personal preference. I bend the finger when applying as the finger fattens up and that way when I relax the finger the tape isn’t as constricting. The tape stays on and is durable. Better than a glove in this application as it leaves the other fingers able to feel what your doing. Worth a shot if you’re thinking about it. ... show more

I like EVERYTHING about this product. I am 67. years old with RA. My knuckles are very weak and sometimes dislocate. I wrap my knuckles for the day and my knuckles stay in place all day long and my pain is not as bad as it could be. I highly recommend this product. Worth the money and I even sent some to my sister in Texas. Word of mouth is better for a good product than any other advertising . So glad I found out about this amazing safety tape ... show more
